i just thinking what if those bounty manager of signature campaign gives merit to their participants, it will help each other the bounty will be advertise and the participants can have merit that requires to rank up, its a little bit harder to being ranked up.

Yeah but that will be too hard to be implemented. First of all, the bounty needs many accounts that are high ranked because that will be their only possible source of sendable merits. It will be a form of added labor to the group of the bounty and there might be some issues. Another factor that make this thing harder is that the path of the merits is tracked by the authority in this forum and they might find it as a wrong move.

well... if they will give me a merit i have to thank them now because it is so hard now to ranked up without merit.we know that rules that it is so difficult to be rank.but if they will give me a chance to be ranked up then why not.

This is NOT a good idea. I personally would be thankful if another member sees me worthy of a merit. But suggesting for campaign managers to give out merits to their participants is inappropriate. Once campaign managers starts giving out merits to participants, every other participant will surely ask or even demand that they be given merits as well. Why? Because they would see it to be bias and unfair. Their argument would be, "Hey! I’m also promoting the
same project! Why shouldn’t I get a merit?!" Now this will just be a big headache for the manager considering the # of participants that will be bugging him for merits. Also, do take note that asking or demanding for merits will most probably be counted as begging for merits which many of the high ranking members easily gets annoyed with. Now anyone can be tagged for doing this. Merit begging is a big no no!

I think if the bounty manager will be the one to give merit it is more appropriate since he will be the one to judge whom among his participant are doing well who give his best during the campaign who give constructive post and having sense and convince the reading public and the campaign manager prerogative to whom he will give his merit or to rank individual.

i am just wondering if bounty manager for signature campaign gives me a merit i have to thank him a lot because now it is really hard to rank up because of that merit.so how can we go further if nobody want us to give merit.but if the decision of our bounty manager will be like that that was a very great for us.now i have to say "thank you".

Yep, a good idea to spread merit but there are so many participants in a campaign. Like in bounty signature campaign sometimes they have 100+ participants and there are only few smerit for bounty manager to be given. But for sure it will give moral boost to the participant of the campaign

Right! Idea is not that good at all. Not just because of "everyone would want it" but there's simply not enough merit to be successful, maybe if the merit source was leading the campaign but even then the manager doesn't have anything to do with the campaign (most of the times) besides just managing it. Therefore, the team behind the projects campaign would have to provide merit.

Everyone out here does have very limited merits to give .
Thus bounty Campaign managers will have tough time choosing the right ones ..
Also then problem is if..they wish to give merits equally to everyone in the campaign they will have to coordinate with the staff, and that will take time..
All that can happen is ... They can distribute some merit they have to the participants who Excel at work, but then again if they wished to give merits you would already have right now..it's a choice they have to make .. one cannot force.

i think it can happen that bounty manager can give you merit like if you post in their ann thread or etc that related to the campaign but still i think users here can give merit after all and base on your post OP i think this is not constructive but still that's your mind do what you want i only say what i want too so better to do our business here in forum

There is nothing stopping this from happening now, but a premise would be for the Campaign Manager to have sMerit to give away. Some do, since they are high-ranking community profiles, whilst some are low ranking and therefore have little to no sMerit available to give away.

Regardless, one would say that, being sMerit a limited resource, only a few people would be able to receive merit for a given campaign. Logically, one would favor those that do most work for the campaign, therefore probably allocating it to those that do the toughest tasks such as translation or article generation, which are already amply rewarded in tokens from the ICO.

The merit system was implemented to avoid people posting a lot of low quality posts. The idea here is that your rank (number of posts, time on the forum) is not enough. You also need merit (quality of your post, helping other understand some topics).

So.. definitely, no, campaign should not give merit!

Knowing that merit was made for quality posts, It was awarded for those who deserve it. So the manager should not do that to give the participants a merit. As far as I know it is against the law of the forum. Correct me if I'm wrong

I'm very thankful if the bounty manager gives me a merit. For  now it's hard to rank up if we don't have a merit, so we just hope that some people in higher ranks will give us merit.

Your idea was possible but if those campaign manager giving a reward for those who post constractive and proper posting. Yes its hard to get merit or to rank up but it was helpful for those who ng constractive and to eliminate those possers and have multiple account. So that is why we have a new procesa to rank up so post constractive and they reward you a merit.

Where will the bounty managers get enough merits to give his/her bounty participants? I belief the merit system has been put to place more to check unnecessary abuse of this forum and also ensuring that people not just post for posting sake but post something worthy of reading, note and really contributive.

I don't see anything wrong with that, in fact some bounty managers have started to apply this , giving merit to the participant when he truly deserve it for a really good post he has made. This is also a very good indirect way of fighting spam and low quality post. Users with low quality post won't rank up unless they raise up their game and post quality.

Actually this is a bright idea,that the bounty manager will be the one would give the merit  to the bounty participants because its will also help promoting the project that they develope in the blockchain market,but in the other hand there is also a negative  feedback to the community in this forum, because its contributes a doubt  that maybe this merit  system will be given only and the benefited are the circle of friends of the bounty manager.

I agree  that this is somehow a good idea, bounty managers giving merits to the members having a very informative and good constructive post. But it with be good also, not just the bounty manager but also the moderator of this forum should also give merits that really deserve to be given. With this, it will help improve the ranking of the Newbies, jr.members and members in this community.
