Hi All,

I just configured my Ledger and I wanted to confirm a few things with you..

1) What is contract data and how should you configure it?

2) What is Fido U2F ? Should I use it?

3) I transfered TRX to my ledger.. I though I would be able to view my balances like on the ledger Bitcoin wallet. Is this possible?

Thanks

1  for the contact data is usually after you send or buy
toggle the token etherium and after entering the altcoin you buy on a regular basis
automatically go straight in your wallet.

2  is kind of 2 step verification, yes of course you should use it
because to add security to the storage of altcoin or money
you have either on your exchange or your personal wallet!

3  I think this is still less I understand your question!
can you explain more briefly for me to understand it!

Thanks so I should enable Fido!

With regards last question:

I have BTC in my ledger bitcoin wallet. Its an application which loads on chrom showing you all the information of your bitcoin wallet etc.

Now since I sent TRX to my ledger via MEW.. Is there a way to view my tokens on a wallet like of the bitcoin wallet?

The only way I can see the tokens is when i connect it to MEW and choose Ledger I press on tokens and it directs me to a website.. I wanted to know if you can view your TRX and any other altcoin like the below image

1. To be able to manage your funds though MEW or MyCrypto you should turn it on.

2. You can secure you funds even more using U2F security token. I suppose it doesn't needed in most situation. But if you have more than $1M at the ledger it's good thing to use.

3. Any ERC20 tokens could be managed only through MEW or MyCrypto (you need to turn on Browser support as well as Contract data). But if you need just to watch your balance you may do it at etherscan.io. Just paste your public address at the search field and press enter.
