For the reasonable price of
BTC27:
2003 Hyundai Accent GL w/comfort package 4 door sedan ("Captain Janegray") with 160,500km (original owner) incl. most service records.
Good things:
- Includes some winter and all season tires.
- Timing belt was replaced at 150,000km
- New battery
- Aftermarket Sony Stereo has a USB drive reader
- Newly polished headlight covers (those plastic headlight covers can get really dirty after 10 years)
Less awesome things:
- The car was in one fairly minor rear end accident in 2005.
- The battery isn't currently held down properly due to the retention bolt shearing off, so if it needs to pass inspection in another jurisdiction I'll have to make sure I deal with that in such a way that it will.
- The air conditioning sometimes cuts out randomly for short intervals (not enough that it gets significantly hot in the summer - this problem has been fairly consistent for 4 years).
- The transmisson has been replaced twice, but after the second time the mechanics told me to stop being an idiot and not letting the engine warm up for at least a minute or two in the winter I haven't had problems with it.
- There is a long crack in the windshield starting at the top near the driver and extending a few inches down then toward the passenger side. It hasn't reached another edge yet
