I need a loan of 0.04btc.
I will pay back 0.06btc in 1month.
I am giving my gold bar and solid gold chain worth 0.1btc as collateral.
Please interested lenders should be based in Lagos,  thanks

You know it would require one to check to make sure its real gold and not fake correct? That would likely also cost, even if you had a certificate. Why not just take it to a pawn shop and pawn it and buy bitcoin with that?

Yes I know.  They don't charge to test that.  That's why I said the person must be in Lagos cos that's where I am presently.  . There are no pawnshops close to me here,  if anyone knows one,  please suggest.  That will even be better.

Your loan request is very specific. Doubt there will be anyone in Lagos that is interested in filling this loan and taking gold as collateral, that also has a $700+ piece of equipment to test out the authenticity of the gold pieces.

Just a quick search shows that there are indeed pawn shops in Lagos: http://www.cashdown.com.ng/most-wanted/ and https://etmoneyshop.com/.

Apparently you will also need your proof of ownership of the gold pieces, but if you do have them then you should be able to get a loan from a local pawn shop with that as collateral quite easily. I would suggest either getting some pics of the collateral so that you have more of a chance, or locking this thread.
