LOL @ the CLAMs. Why not? Only problem is what the value will be at the time of exchange, or if the exchange works (poloniex seems to be overwhelmed now or something.)

@peonminer, Thank you. It's a low maintenance project. I basically let the funds sleep until they get big enough to be worth exchanging. There are 3 or 4 exchanges local to me, and they all work well.

In the near future, it may be possible that I will replace this project with a different one, one where I am a more active participant. The one where I get to wear my uniform and go knee deep in flood waters or something. (Since I got married, my wife won't allow me to jump out of airplanes anymore, so this ...)

But if not, I can still do this one.

This is fantastic work by dabs, im gonna send some over. I would love to be able to do something like this too but afraid that people would want to brand me a scammer especially since i am only a full member and my post count is on the lower side.

With christmas around the corner the help requests that come to me are over-whelming and i can only do so much on my own.

This year i managed to collect enough money to sponsor a 100 blankets for street children and homeless folk here in India. India is a hotbed of scams and hence people don't trust us so easily even though the fact remains that poverty is a part of our daily lives and we see such stuff on a daily basis. I do believe even a little help are like drops that form an ocean. I wonder if i start a thread like this, will people come forward to help? I can even post images and receipts for purchases on the thread to prove i am genuine.

Edit: Sent 0.02 to the cause. Would have loved to donate more, but cant really contribute more because of the afore mentioned reason.

Some pics of the bags in boxes. I don't get all of them, I only got 12 bags as that's all 1.6 BTC can buy now. But all of those will go to children. The pic are stocks inside their small warehouse in the walk-in-center that I go to, but I'm not allowed to open them, so I had the cashier just stick a label and took these pictures.
