CoinRace – a betting platform on Ethereum

Shortly we already have implemented a blockchain protocol with a trusted oracle for betting industry. Also, we created the game that runs on top of the betting protocol.

Team

Our team has already self-funded the development of technical description and
economic model for the CoinRace Game and Betting Protocol, as well as
proof of concept in code written in Nodejs, Ethereum smart contracts, and JavaScript that
covers complete process cycle. This protocol is available on GitHub.

Game Rules

Cryptocurrency coins are represented as cars. The cars run on a track. Some of the cars can run fastest than others in a specific period (currently there are 4-hours races).
We consider the acceleration if car speed as competition between coins.
You can bet on any car. Once your car wins, you win tokens from bets made on other cars, depending on your stack.

Prospects

We represent a great potential for betting on the blockchain. We have one implemented game already, but this is just example. We imagine the big potential of sports betting and going to implement trusted oracles, game builders for the community. You will be able to create own games and earn money based on our protocol and open source projects.

We have researched sports betting area, and the results look promising:

Sports betting is the area where it is quite easy to start doing it, while simultaneously rather hard to get the benefit. The main intricacy is in the correct evaluation of the possible risk to lose your money since when the game can be defined in a brace of shake it becomes complex to forecast the victory of one or another player for sure.

The choice of the sports that one would mostly like to bet on depends on the individual interest of the person, that is consistent due to the fact that it would be easier to understand and analyze overpast and upcoming events is you are all about being a fan. According to statista.com, the global sports market revenue rose from 76.1 in 2013 to 90.9 billion U.S. dollars in 2017.

Based on the reports of H2 Gambling Capital, the most trustworthy agency in analysis of the global gaming business, in 2015 the top 5 sports due to the the total bets were soccer (43.07%), tennis (20.95%), basketball (17.21%) volleyball (7.99%), hockey (6.94%). Other sports took 3.84 % only.

This is working dapp. We already played on ganache a lot of times. Then spent 2 weeks to run it on ropsten. So we released a beta. But people already found an issue. So fixing.

Ok. you are right. We used coinmarketcap to check the available name. But this problem is related to few startups like https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dao-casino/ and https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/betacoin/ and they can live together.
I think some exchanges will have to show FULLNAME of startup for each coin because people will never stop produce new coins but we will focus on our roadmap.
