Since Theymos and Cyrus didn't prioritize recovery account then maybe its better to give Global Moderator that authority so waiting recovering will be faster than now.
Can moderator ask Theymos this idea? Thanks

I think hilariousandco (a "Global Moderator") already has that authority (based on few of his/her recent posts):

Can you follow that? If not, if you can reasonably prove the account is yours I can unlock it.

If you can sign a message from it then I can unlock it for you.

If you can send me it I can unlock it.

The best thing will happen is a new manager added for this purpose.

No, he doesn't. He can only unlock accounts he can't recover them. Apparently unlocking and recovering accounts are not the same.

You can't expect theymos/Cyrus to work 24/7 just to help everyone recover their accounts. They try doing their best whenever they get the time to do so. They prioritize whatever is best on the community's interests.

This means that many accounts will be able to access to the "Security data".
The best thing will happen is a new manager added for this purpose.

Managers have a different context here in this forum. It usually means campaign managers. Maybe another Admin might help but that's not very important for now.

No, Only Administrators.
I had a proposal to solve this problem:
1.When you create a new account the system will ask you to add your BTC address.
2.If your account hacked/stolen: click on Restore my password.
3.The system will create your own code and ask you to sign a message "using that code" from that address.
4.The system will check/verify the message and recover your password "Temporary password".

What is the most important of a forum.It's member. With no member, it's not a forum. So i think that Theymos and Cyrus will prioritize recovery account, if your request is valid.
Requests with no respond or your account can't recovery because it's invalid or you ddidn't provide enough materials.
