I listed my cards on craigslist for sale but the market seem to have no demands for these GPUs anymore. What are you guys doing with it?

Collecting dust until I can get around to selling them.

Don't have the desire to bother with altcoin mining. It seems like there is a new altcoin springing up every day. Way too volatile and fragmented to hold my interest.

At the mo I'm redeeming CoinLab loyalty points, and that will probably carry on for a good month or so. In the meantime I shall check out these newfangled altcoins and these pools and coinhopping software and so on, in case there's a chance I can get more than electricity costs from such adventures.

After all that's done I shall attempt to flog them. Most of them are 5970s, and yochdog recently auctioned four off here for BTC1.15 each, and they can still get 150 quid on ebay with a bit of luck. So there's some hope for them yet.

If I've said anything amusing and/or informative and you're feeling generous:

Mining multiple scrypt coins on a "most profitable" rotation on Hash Cows. Auto rotate, trade and payout in BTC with VARDIFF.

https://www.hashco.ws/

Used to be on The Middlecoin pool which is similar (auto rotate coins, trade, and payout in BTC) but lacked both variable difficulty and the ability to track workers, and less attentive to pool members' suggestions.

Before that, was mining straight Litecoin

My 7950/7970 GPUs are staying idle ever since my cost for hosting them became too high. May consider selling them when the market becomes good.

They are not dedicated mining devices though (they were purchased for high-performance servers, but the project was abandoned later. We later did casual mining for a limited time before shutting them down due to cost.)

I sold all but 2 x 7950's.  Now I have a deadly gaming system which is cool.  But I'm gonna be mining with the cards in about another month, when it gets colder. Basically free heat for my small apartment, which is nice.
