There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hi I have octominer board and same psu as your build video - 1200w P2. I’m adding 8 p106-090 but unsure how to connect psu. In your video you say those adapters don’t work but then it shows you using the yellow cords. What else do I need to order to connect my 8 cards as I wait for my other orders?

This is nice but in the reality, the gpu need a proper space to one another to freely flow the air on both side, in this kind of setup the gpu will supper the high temperature.. Just saying..

Nope the fans on front and back will keep airflow fine. I have 100's of this type and heat is not the issue. Making sure it's in a clean enviroment and making sure the fans are running is the main thing you need to be worried about

I bought 1 full rig from the March batch. Excited to try it out and see how it all goes. If it works well I will be buying more.

Agree. Running cards above 70 degrees for me is huge no no, I keep them 40-55 degrees.

Any chance you can do a cpu utilization benchmark in windows with different miners running?

i have had a lot of issues with 6 pin to 8 pin adapters but not the 6 pin to 2x 6+2 pcie adapters you'll need some splitters probably and there's debate on whether or not thats safe fwiw I have to use them on almost all of my builds

It depends on your setup I think there are people who benefit from both styles, I see a lot of great utility with boxed systems though plus the riserless boards are such a breeze to setup
