Why am I seeing airdrops moving from this account to having telegram or discord accounts? People can still create multiple accounts.

Why am I seeing airdrops moving from this account to having telegram or discord accounts? People can still create multiple accounts.

Telegram requires a valid phone number. While it's possible to create multiple accounts, it is more difficult and generally there is a cost associated with it. We also have built some checks to try and spot fake accounts in the bot istelf. We think this an acceptable way to do it without compromising the privacy of any participants by doing ay form of real KYC.

Although the logic makes sense, however with every google email, one can get phone number and that can be used to create Telegram IDs. Although I see this as more hassle.

The Airdrop will be occurring in about 2 weeks, you will need to have telegram to participate, were just in process of getting the telegram bots working for the automated drop.

Yes we will be beginning from a new genesis block, over the coming 6 months we hope to rewrite alot of the Monero implementation of CryptoNote with the help of Tom Winget who is one of the largest contributors to Monero

Over what time frame are you talking about? the 'Max' supply of Loki is 150 Million but there is a tail emission which will inflate the supply of 0.5% PA after the max supply is hit.
