So what is the purpose of the tokens?  I understand you are raising money for the development of the app but what would someone use these tokens for?

Loki is a mineable crypto coin, not a token. You should spend more time to look at both the OP of the ANN and the LOKI website to get what is LOKI.

Loki miners... help spread the hashrate around to different pools.  Being on a pool with a higher hashrate doesn’t mean you get higher payouts.  High hashrate pools runs around 100% effort.  A low hashrate pool runs around 75-85% effort.  Which one makes you more money?

So why dont you make it simple more by introducing what pool with the best profit at the moment? I remember that only loki.miner.rocks in fact attractive to many workers in current.

I’m currently on blockfoundry.org, which was running around 60% effort range earlier this week, but has since gone back up to the 80s range.  Since the average effort changes with every block found, it would be hard to stay on the pool with the lowest effort as you would constantly be changing pools.

Here is a list of pools from the Loki website:
https://loki.network/getting-started/

Note: Some pools do not display average effort (luck) and it must be manually calculated from the blocks page.

Hi mr.Belyavski! When Service Nodes go live in November, you'll be able to purchase access to the SN network with LOKI coins.

Hi dvd14986,

How this project will differ from competitors like zcash, monero or pivix? There are plenty of private coins out there.

The main difference is that it is the 2nd layer that is built on top of the incentivised nodes. Essentially it's proof of service on-top of a modified Monero. It should allow for a fully decentralized network with end to end message routing.
