Wow, 45k Loki for a service node. I was really hoping it would be something around 10k. Going to price out a lot of smaller investors. We are looking into Pooling for service nodes, at a protocol level, we're making some good progress. There may be a way to split the cost/reward between a few people. Thank you for the quick response. It's very reassuring when a dev team listens and finds a way to fix problems. While we may disagree on semantics, I respect the honesty. Well the 45K requirement for 1 SN is too much I think, should be reduce by third to 15K. Yeah it is good news for people who able to buy those 45K.
It's 45k at start only, in 6 months it will become 27k, and gets lower for 4 years after |

Hey everyone, On approximately the 31st of July 2018, at Block height 64324, Loki will be forking to make a change to the emission curve that will result in a net reduction of the block reward. We have already reached out to exchanges and they are now finished updating. For community members who are simply holders of Loki, and use the Loki GUI wallet you can update here: https://github.com/loki-project/loki-gui/releases/tag/0.2.0 For mobile users, the Loki android wallet will also push out an automatic update. Users should update or they will start detecting invalid blocks past the fork height. Note: This change is not setting the staking requirement, we are still collecting community feedback on the staking requirement change. |

Why the supply will be increased initially with high ROI returns
