What kind of problems? if you are referring to the fact that you have to make it a couple of times before it gets accepted it's the same for me, and i think for all.
Don't know why it works this way.

This happens when Google think you're a robot ,Try deleting the cache and cookies from your browser or use Incognito mode ,or try another browser like Chrome if you are using Firefox
And if your ISP provides a dynamic IP address restart the Router To get a new IP address.

In general there are 2 kind of problems with recaptcha.
One of it like CoinsFly said it could be google think you are a robot thus make it impossible to solve the captcha.

Another problem might be people don't understand how recaptcha works so they concluded the problem.

You should know that there are a few conditions to solve the captcha.

1) Select all pictures as per instruction (e.g. select all pictures with roads) and click verify button.

or

2) Skip all pictures (e.g. skip all with road) and click next. For this, make sure you only click next 1 time and next step should have verify button once you skipped all related pictures. If you see next button more than once then solving the captcha will probably failed.

The above is from my observation maybe there are different kind of problems which I have never experience before.
