Hi i have been mining this coin from yesterday, I get popups on the right of my desktop that 10,000 coins have been minted. but in my wallet it shows no amount at all it shows 0 so whats wrong, i also checked the wallet address and it is the address that is linked to my wallet.

have you sync the wallet. if not sync fully will be not show balance

Excellent point. And this is true of almost all coins.

Too many people mining for solo mining to work on regular computers. Says that on that page. You need to join one of the pools.

Says this on that page:

(2/27/18 update:
As the coin has gotten more popular, the hash rate has gone up so much that solo mining is probably a waste of electricity, at least if you’re on normal desktop and laptop computers. If that’s what you have, use a mining pool. We’re leaving the below information here for historical interest.)

weenfan,

On the indocoin.cash, my indocoin balance were minus, -5000000
Any news regarding that? Because if I cancel all order, it just will make me loose my ballance

https://exchange.kratom.pw/ < you have all your orders here as well .. as Kratom
Can you explain for me how to exchange my KTO to MZC at https://exchange.kratom.pw/
It's no easy to use
Having same issue?

Fill in on the top two boxes, a valid Kratom address and a valid Mazacoin address and then click login/execute... Save your account_id somewhere safe.

You will then see all the bids and asks .. hover the mouse over things for instructional tips to show .

Don't know what happened but Nicepool went down for some time and wiped out a nice chunk of mined coins last night.

Until you sync it, yeah.

Did you read the first post on this thread? It explains the history of this project.

Both devs have replied to people's questions in the past 24 hours. What are you expecting from us?

Jeez. This crap is why devs stop supporting coins. Not that we're going to stop.

But we're doing something that is not making any money so far, it's basically a labor of love at this point.

We answer questions promptly and politely, INCLUDING QUESTIONS THAT ARE ALREADY ANSWERED ON THE WEBSITE, and STILL a few people say "You're not doing enough."

I answered your idiotic demanding noob question a few pages back,  even did so politely.

You act like an entitled child.

Our response time on here is as proactive as Amazon; I wrote them asking a question yesterday and it took 28 hours to get a reply. And we are much more proactive with responses than Facebook, they are known for often NEVER replying. And still you think it's not enough.

Also, you have 8 posts? Welcome to crypto and welcome to the internet.

Glad you're not going to be on this thread anymore.

You're a mosquito.

I'll be deleting any replies from you. Our first delete yet. Congrats.

OK, I get it. ALL your 8 comments are pestering devs for not meeting your demands;
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1776912;sa=showPosts

And I just checked, I've answered TWO noob questions for you.

Question for you: do yo live with your mother?

lol.

EDIT: he did respond, with some whiny entitled bullshit about how devs "owe" miners things. I deleted it within 2 minutes.

Good luck with the project. I know how difficult it is to do one's passion while still holding down a day job.

I am also running a pool for my own miners. I would open it to the public, but crap like the problems you have had here is exactly why I keep it private. I do no have time to reply to constant accusations of my pool cheating people, this is especially prevalent among crypto noobs who don't know what they are doing yet.

for those who want to use the Linux Wallet, just build it from source.

on Ubuntu you will need a bunch of prerequisites:
These will differ a bit depending on which version of Ubuntu you are using. Here is 14.04:

sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev automake pkg-config libssl-dev libevent-dev bsdmainutils
sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev
sudo apt-get install libminiupnpc-dev
sudo apt-get install libzmq3-dev

That should be all of it. If there are some more outstanding, please post here so I can update the tut.

Once prerequisites are loaded, do:
git clone https://github.com/weenfan/Kratom.git
cd Kratom/src/
chmod a+x leveldb/build_detect_platform
make -f makefile.unix -j3 USE_UPNP=-

once the build is complete, run "./kratomd"
This will prompt you to create a conf file.
vi ~/.kratom/kratom.conf   (If you do not know how to use vi, then use nano, it is a bit more user friendly)

you should not need more than:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcpassword=somepassword
rpcuser=someuser

Once the file is in place you can run ./kratomd again and it will start syncing. To make the sync faster you can extract the blockchain zip file that is listed in the ANN above to ~/.kratom and then start the kratomd daemon.

Hope this helps

If you would like to mine to your wallet you will have to add:

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1

to your ~/.kratom/kratom.conf

Do not bother trying to mine this with CPU or GFX cards. The algo is scrypt so there are many Asics out there capable of mining this.
