I've been replied, but I've never started a new topic. Is this the reason why I don't have Merit? Can I start a new theme anywhere and get a Merit?Or? Huh Huh Huh ???Can anyone give me a Merit?

You're doing it wrong, don't ask. The whole reason the merit system was introduced was to reduce the amount of spam and shit posting on the forum. Just become a part of the community and leave quality posts and you might get some eventually (merit is hard to come by - its deflationary). It definitely wont be easy ranking up anymore but in due time and diligence it will feel well earned.

Now you have to be patient and provide quality comments. It is more difficult to increase the range with the new system based on "merit" but little by little you will surely get it.

I think that the comments should be useful, helpful, that the comments really contribute something to the conversation. Luck! Wink

Merit can only be obtained from the quality and useful content that could be gained by this community. Do constructive messages and you will certainly give merit

Try to stop doing posts for a couple of days, just read in the forum, and search in anything that pops in your mind. Observe those members who got loads of merits, reflect on them. I'm not saying you should copy them,  be yourself and improve yourself while following their path.

Merit is given to you by people that read your posts and responses. A person can give you merit for any reason, but most will give you merit for a post or response that they like.

I give merit to informative posts and responses that are helpful and correct, contain information that is new and relevant, and that required some work or research to write. I give merit to opinions that are thoughtful, interesting, and novel. However, I don't give merit to members of signature campaigns.

The question was written in English, I guess we should not have posted the comment in a different language, buddy. There is a section in Bahasa and other foreign languages. We are not commenting or posting a thread just like that in case to be considered active but ignoring others that don't understand the post Smiley No need to rush to add the number of posts. Better take time to read threads in this forum over and over related to 'how to get merit'.  Somehow, all viewpoint given are really helpful.

No and no. The reasons are your questions. Try building community by create quality posts, and someone think your post is useful they will give you Merit. Or you can participate on "bounty merit" thread in this forum, complete the mission and thread manager will give you

Merit is something to appreciate the quality of a post. It's similiar with likes or upvote, but merit amount is limited.
You will get a merit point when someone gives it through one of your posts.

Come on, you dont be too obsessive with merit. it will make you become a spammers later.
Merit wont change your life, just show you quality or not. It was also seen from who sent you merit. There are some members who just send each other merit and it isn't effective enough for me to recognize as a quality member.

I've no merit and I'm fine here.  Cheesy

I agree with you, because by creating a thread like this, others people will actually think this tread is only used to beg merit to other members, and the worst thing that would happen if someone reported this thread to the moderator by reason of "begging for merit "because in this post written a words..

...Can anyone give me a Merit?

and then the OP will get a red trust

Yeah I didn't need Merit til now either, as a Jr Member I could easily translate in the bounties as I can insert pictures now.
But its so frustrating when you want to start participate in signature bounties and you see you get 10 stakes weekly for being a Jr Member and 320 stakes as a Legendary Cheesy

I am a beginner too but as much as possible I try to make my posts to have more quality than my previous post. With that, you need to read a lot of resources, verify the sources and write constructively.

Earning merit is not about starting topics, but more so providing accurate and relevant responses to people's questions. It's mostly other users that provide merit when you provide a quality answer.

I need to relieve some stress so I'm going to sit here and give you some feedback on why you can't get merit points.

I looked at your last posts, and this is one of your typical posts (I think it's pretty typical of your posts):

Quote
There is no doubt that bitcoin is now the boss. Because it started the revolution of the digital currency pair. This is a cross - time change. Fully deserve。 When a new technology comes into being, it has a wide range of influence. You can see the value of bitcoin now!! I like bitcoin, and I hold it firmly! Bitcoin has a better future!

It's kind of confusing. what does "it started the revolution of the digital currency pair" mean? What is a digital currency pair? What is a cross-time change? And why do you randomly say "fully deserve?"

I like when you at least attempt an explanation when you say nascent tech has a wide range of influence... i wish you would have tied that with bitcoin... but you didn't. It's jsut left there and the reader has to discern how bitcoin connects to that. Bitcoin is 10-year old tech, it's not exactly new tech. So we needed you to explain that a bit more.

So for this post to be meritable, it would have to be less confusing. Why is bitcoin the revolution of this "digital currency pair?" Explain.

What in the heck is a cross-time change? Please explain to people who don't know what you're talking about.

I see you're actually trying to say that bitcoin has a wider range of influence because it's "new tech" (even though it's not). So you should explain how it has a wide range of influence. Give examples, stuff like that.

Hope this helps.

Merit is a dilemma and a byword. The process of getting it is difficult, but according to some views to get merit we have to give the quality post and build.
