Now scammers have divorced a lot and not only in twitter, but in general in any social network, so you should not even open messages in these networks and also in twitter itself, there are constantly various messages about deception, never believe anyone in the Internet, think with your head.

Twitter has now become a gathering place for ico scams. Twitter was originally an ordinary social media, but it is now widely used in various scams, not just crypto. In many other scams, we can Seeing that Twitter is working, so this is also an important reason for Twitter’s official implementation of the ICO advertising ban this year.

I think more scammers are on discord or telegram, because the discord or telegram is more concealed than Twitter, and the actual online numbers are more. Now many scammers will use chat scams to lure you to hand over your money by deposit/transaction. The scam on Twitter is not very clever and easy to see, so you don't need to worry too much. The only thing that bothers me is that there are too many spam accounts on Twitter, all the tweets are almost related to ICO.

Thanks for the useful information. I am one of those who is careful with such scamming accounts but those who are new in crypto world should take your words into account and be extremely careful
I intentionally did not use Twitter for a long time because the features and uses were not suitable for me, especially for bitcoin it was not suitable at all and I am sure Twitter tried to break into bitcoin

There are some people who knows about scamming very well and they are making great ammount of money every new day. I think they would never stop scamming because there will be new targets for them every new day. Newbies should pay attention and they should not believe in those people. But unfortunately before they really understand the system they usually got scam. Not only in twitter, in markets, and ICO's too.. I got scammed twice before i really learn how to keep my assets.

Not only are the scammers doing the fake accounts that say "send .02 BTC and get triple" but apparently now they are either buying verified accounts or hacking them and changing the names and pictures to cryptocurrency people. Now it can actually be hard to tell if someone is scamming.
An example:https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/967887920991559681
Really shitty that this is happening. Be careful everyone
Wee need to going twitter support for reporting this account who are involved with fraudulent activities. Some people will be get hacked because for blue verified accounts is public trustworthy.

I think you should not believe such things as send me money and I will give you back more. This should immediately alert. All spammers can not be caught so be careful.

Actually not only on twitter you should be aware but all social medias and campaigns. Because as long as it is about gaining profit, some people tend to gain assets without working on it but to scam a person for an easy income.

Any ICOs wants to reach any person on whatever platform of social media. Twitter is one of it, facebook and instagram is another. As long as there are many people using it, scammers will find ways to penetrate and floods with their marketing plans to attract possible investors. This is not new, that is why just be careful in any ads being offered to you.

Its really sad that many people are getting scmed nowadays , it will be difficult to trust everyone even your friend because no one knows there is a chance that he/she will betray you. We really need to be aware especially on the internet because scammers will do anything just to take everything from you.

These guys are getting pretty fed up. I never like Twitter as a social network. There's a lot of obsessive and meaningless information that you simply clog up your brain. In General, now this problem applies to all social networks, not just Twitter.

Such messages are designed only for beginners in bitcoin, which is also obsessed with excitement. And so it is not surprising that Twitter prohibits advertising of crypto-currencies in its territory.

I think that such a warning is primarily for beginners and inexperienced investors. Be careful when buying bitcoin and any other coins and better trust your money only to good exchangers.

Twitter is last place in list for experienced and professional traders for advices. Low marketcap coin and tokens are spreaded intentially for pump. After pump pirces will decrease fantastically and it is done for that day.

Unfortunately, scammers now meet at every step, whether it's just the Internet space in social networks or in particular, cryptocurrencies. So do not believe anyone, especially in all sorts of such not a real offer of free coins.

Such fraudulent offers can be found anywhere, especially on social networks. Therefore, I advise you not to believe in such nonsense, and buy coins only on reliable popular exchanges.
