If you want to trace or track any token then you need to search that token in etherscan.io, many investors don't know how to find this so i am sharing this small information with you.

To find details like total supply recent transaction and other details about any ERC20 token you need to visit etherscan.io and need to search that token name in search bar and hit enter and all details of that token will be in front of you.

I prefer https://ethplorer.io On etherscan.io it often happens that some tokens are not displayed, and the price often shows the wrong one.  But in https://ethplorer.io everything is displayed correctly and accurately.

2nd step - How you can find you received token from which contract address ? This is your second task
Open your TxHash by clicking on Link and Look for ERC20 Contract: you will see the address just click on it

Click on Contract Source and read full description
mainly its Contract Source Code where you can verify it

Click on  Read Contract Information

All details will be shown on Page such as Token name , totalSupply   ,symbol ,  owner of token.
