As I read this question here in the forum, my curiosity arouse. Well, I research this question in order for my curiosity to be answered. Base on my research, I found out that "Ripple executive chairman Chris Larsen has become “the richest person in the world” according to reports assessing his stake in the exploding cryptocurrency."

Well, I just did a research. Who is really the rich Bitcoinist? Can anyone answer it?

Yes, it wouldn’t be a smart decision to tell publically that you are the richest bitcoin person. You can see the addresses with most bitcoins but you don’t know if one guy own many different ones:

There are many ratings "The richest in the world of Cryptocurrency in accordance with Forbes" or other ratings. But, in my opinion, the richest whales are anonymous. Of course, these are rich people, many of them are famous and public, but they will never tell about their real incomes in fiat and bitcoin.

so many times I have came across with different names in magazines being the richest crypto guy but what I do believe these names are rich but their names are just formals because the wealthy elite is not on those lists I guess.

As bitcoin is a decentralized currency, meant to keep holders anonymous, it should not be possible to point out the person who has most bitcoins. The richest bitcoiner could be the richest person who has bitcoins or just someone who made the largest amount of money with bitcoins.

It may be the US treasury, didn't they seize quite a wealth in Bitcoin? I've read the same about Bulgaria too at some point.
Other huge assets can be in the cold storage of the exchanges and online wallets.
There are rumors that Kim Jong-un could have huge assets in Bitcoin, Monero and others.

But no sane individual would claim (and prove) that he owns big number of Bitcoin. And it's normal, it's for their own safety.

Reportedly the Winklevoss twins (also behind FB) have a lot, and supposedly have never sold any.

This question is one we aren't supposed to answer though, unless the wallet holders somehow brag about it publicly, the entire point is wallets are not traceable.
