The main crypto-currencies have struggled to maintain their upward momentum, provided earlier this week. Bitcoin fell again below the $ 10,000 mark, while Ethereum is very careful to exceed the threshold of nine hundred dollars.

Actually the dominance of bitcoin keep decreasing from year to year it was around 51% in 2017 but later it went to 35% now it increased a little bit tp 39% so actually the dominance also recovering when the price increases but it is a good percentage of dominance it shows that people also start using altcoins too it is good for the future of bitcoin too,if bitcoin dominance increases too much then it will become unusable.

The outlook for the BTC is good, although it looks like it is still low, but I believe it will soon be back on the $ 20,000 high.

Even though it is interesting to look at the trends and try to understand them, actual and reliable forecasts are impossible to draw...

The price volatility of the price is one of the most important characteristics of bitcoin... Some people will play with it and trade while other try to built sustainable models...

So to answer your question, I believe Bitcoin will likely still exist in some form in the future, even if hardly recognizable

Bitcoin is stable at value over $ 10k. To be able to boost more bitcoin need to pass the $ 12k level, if the market is worse than bitcoin can be about 6k $. The market is volatile so at this point I advise investors to watch the market and not invest in any crypto co.

yes, the effect of high sales at the end of 2017 we still feel until now. this will be the worst history for bitcoin. I never thought that bitcoin was so hard to reach $ 15,000, earlier this year.

but, despite the bad conditions today, but I believe bitcoin will recover, and reach $ 15000 more point, I just have to wait for time. this condition will be a lesson for bitcoin prospects for the better in the future.

We can speculate on what BTC is going to do or what we want it to do
as much as we like but the markets are very volatile and can react to any
sort of news real or fake.

My opinion is that BTC will gain popularity and useability when segwit
and lightning is fully installed making transactions more favourable  in
terms of costs and speed.

BTC will also loose market share as further alt coins are created and
invested in but it wont be just BTC loosing out other alts will too, its
the total market in general will become diluted to an extent.

Honestly i'm still satisfied what is the price of bitcoin today we don't need to compare it with ethereum since bitcoin is doing a lot already and support by many companies and accept by many website. As we can see the price is still in 900% to 1000% price compare to last year price. So don't compare ethereum to bitcoin. Ethereum will be still altcoin as alternative for bitcoin..  And my suggestion better to wait for november and december price and start to complain about the price of bitcoin if what is current price today and the future.. 
Look the history of bitcoin if how much the price of bitcoin start until bitcoin accept by big companies until bitcoin become trending news and increase a lot i am still satisfied what is bitcoin today..

Hold bitcoins is good but it is the lowest profitable tactic. In order for money to bring profit, they must be constantly in circulation. Each turnover of money brings income not only to you but also to all who participate in this chain. For example, I constantly trade bitcoins on the stock exchange. How can you make conclusions for the whole year based on 2 months? You can't really know the price in a month? I'm sure you don't know what the price is in a week. Lol. Even though your post has this bearish attitude it's in fact bullish. 15k is actually a very nice price for the coin to stabilize at and if more people were to expect that it would draw the market to that support for sure. I'd be quite happy with 15k this year, but since BTC likes to surprise us I think that we'll at least attempt to break $20k again. It may be in Autumn somewhere, but it will happen.
