check the marketplace. should be pretty easy for a .01 or something to get you enough to make trades and trust lines, etc

It's not actualy a scam. But.. It hasn't belong to BitcoinTalk, because it's centralized system. Just a copy of real money...

Have you tried www.ripplewise.com? It's really fast and they take BTC.
