You should seriously consider buying a hardware wallet (Trezor or Ledger), mate, it makes sense especially if your crypto-holdings are large enough. Make sure to buy it only from the original manufacturer (NOT from eBay) and verify (by examining a tamper-proof seal) it has not been tampered with. If you follow those precautions, you will be all right and safe from scammers.

I use a wallet and it suits me on all points. Expendables such as the time reserve are reduced to a minimum and also for ISO it is excellent.

As the many guys above me mentioned hardware wallets are best but if you can't afford one then learn method to avoid phishing attempt and other kind of known scamming method.

Go for Paper wallet or online wallet(Blockchain.info is recommended).

Hardware wallets like Trezor[1] and Ledger Nano S[2] would be the best for security, but your wallet's security isn't going to prevent you from getting scammed and phished. Only your own knowledge and awareness can prevent your from getting scammed and phished.

The paper wallet is really safe for storing your Bitcoin, but you can't use it to make transactions. To do that you first need to import the private key (on the paper) in a wallet client. These include desktop wallets, hardware wallets and mobile wallets. There is also a type of wallet called web-wallet but they aren't considered to be very safe, as you store your Bitcoin on a third party cloud. But generally everything open-source is considered to be safe, as you can view the source code and even build it from source yourself.

You can surely buy A hardware wallet like Trezor or ledger but I think that many can not afford to buy a Hardware wallet if that someone is just starting with Cryptocurrency and is just a newbie, I really think you can have trust with an online wallet if you have a knowledge on their office for further complaint or you can be sure on who's to blame if there is something happen with your coins. There is a need for a hardware wallet but I think it is OK to use a online wallet if you are 100% that it is legit.

A hardware wallet provides the most security a wallet can offer at this time. I recommend a Trezor hardware wallet. However as previously stated there are also Nano Ledger S and Keepkey wallets.

I agreed that hardware wallet is one of the best wallet. You can safeguard bitcoin and altcoin that are supported by the wallet. The best part is you can buy one for less than $100. Please be reminded to buy from official sources.

Hardware wallet i think is the safest of all, try using trezor or ledger they were trusted hardware wallet in the community. Also try using paper wallets if you dont have enough money for hardware wallet.

Hard ware are the only way to safe your coins but my question is why MEW or any other paper or software wallet secure us by providing 02 way verification system? is it not possible?

There are many wallet for bitcoin but all are not real and legit. You can use trezor wallet. It is still good wallet for bitcoin. Besides you can use blockchain or ledger.

Any of the hardware wallets are the safest ones, it is very easy to steal your bitcoin from mobile and desktop wallets if you don't take any measure against such attacks.

If you hold a decent amount you should really consider a hardware wallet ,in the meantime i would use electrum.
For online wallets i use blockchain.info , it is pretty safe with 2fa , but you don't have access to your private keys.
