I think that crypto invest is better. Buy Bitcoin or Alt coins and hold it.

No one can tell you what is right for you because it depends on your goals in terms of an investment. Cryptocurrencies are a great opportunity to grow your investment in ways that you won't be able to with more traditional and stable investments like stocks or gold. A smart strategy would be to invest in more than one area and right now cryptocurrencies are still a good place to look to invest.

I would invest a large amount of your investment in to BTC and then consider altcoins such as Ethereum and then others that you have an interest in.

As always, never invest more than you're willing to lose and understand the risks involved.

Bitcoin is not a good choice if you want to use your monthly savings to invest in crypto. I think you should choose the Altcoin has the potential as ETH, NEO, ......
That's what potential instead of choosing the more risky Bitcoin you have to accept before buying it.

The question is will you be able to monitor your investment with a full time job? Or will it be a distraction if you start trading cryptocurrencies? Even if cryptocurrency trading works 24/7 you can't still miss out important price movements during the 8 hours you are concentrated in your job. My advice is for you to test it out first as some people say trading plus a full time job doesn't quite work well together and they need to give up one. You should be the one to answer your question if you are capable of risking your savings in trading.

I would recommend you to invest in clam coin. That is a Prof of Stake coin, that means you can mine them just by holding them.

In theory, it produces close to 0.1% daily, from my point of view is a smart investment for the long term. Making some math you will realize that you can give you a 36.4% annually profit from the initial amount. If you start with 1000 clams, in one year you will have 1364 clams, and if clam double it's price, the would be a nice way to make money with your savings.

Good luck and happy holding  Wink

If it's not much to ask... what kind of job do you have? Saving $1000 to $2000 is pretty huge in my book. If I had that income I would be buying Bitcoin with all of my savings monthly and not touch that wallet at all, just keep putting more BTC each month, and in 5 to 10 years I would be rich.

Unfortunately, I can't barely make around $300 worth of BTC a month.

Be sure to NOT fall for altcoin scams. Noobs that have money to spend, typical fall for the altcoin memes and think, "oh well, I got this money here, let me diversify". Well let me tell you... diversifying in crypto is generally not a good idea. Most projects that aren't Bitcoin are scams. If you still want to speculate, research first.

I would buy some Monero if I wanted to hold some other coins, but if you ever want to buy a house with your crypto gains, im not sure how you would report gains made in Monero which as far as I know have an obfuscated blockchain so consider these things.

IMO, it is a great idea to invest part of the saving into crypto. In fact, I am doing the same. I put half of my saving every month in crypto. My strategy is to save 25% in fiat for raining days, 25% in stocks and 50% in crypto.

Out of the 50% allocated for crypto, I buy bitcoin with 70% and altcoin with the remaining 30%. Whenever there is a dip in bitcoin price, I will take a portion of my saving in fiat to buy bitcoin at a lower price.

If there is a possibility of 1000-2000 $ a month to invest in bitcoin, my answer is definitely yes! You will invest now, and after a while you will change your life-you will be rich!

Do your own research first and foremost. Bitcoin is a solid investment choice but I would recommend finding some alts you like and invest there too. Don't put all your eggs in one basket and all that.

I find if this $1000 per month is all you have in extra income to save or invest in then I would maybe save it for now.
The price in crypto is too volatile at this time jumping from $10,300 down to $9300 yesterday so it's corrections are still very spaced out within the $1000 range.
If you can risk losing $600-800 of that $1000-2000 every month in a swing like this daily and not have a problem with the stress involved,
then by all means. go ahead.
If not then best thing to do would be to keep saving that amount for a rainy day fund instead. Embarrassed

Well, I think it's kinda difficult question to answer.
People can't forsee the future.

However, if I were in your place and would have regularly (monthly) some money to invest, I would probably look into ICOs.
I think they offer a better ROI than BitCoin.
However, I do agree that you should do careful research, not to fall into scams.

It isn't a bad idea to invest extra money you have saved.  I would recommend not investing more than half of what you save per month.  Research altcoins and invest in a couple of those.  Stratis, Waves, BAT, are all undervalued with strong teams.

If you're going to invest $1, 000 a month, then you can think about altcoins, like ETH, which is doing very well, and there are a lot of people who are investing in it, and it's going to bring you benefits.
