To some people, sometimes sports/games looks like waste of time and money. People do wonders in real life. It is really good for health,  in my area they use to do walk to live from one town to another

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I do not think any sportsperson [football, cricket, hockey, tennis, basketball, rugby etc..] can walk 35 kilometers at age 47.

34 kms! Wow! At the age of 47, that is really something. I don't think I can do that. I might collapse.

My father had blisters on his feet after walking 34 kilometers that day.

I'm sad because in the end your father's condition is like that, so how is't now? Can he still be able to do activities?

That was 30 years back. The story says a man cannot walk more than 20 kilometers at one time.

Why do I find this hard to believe? Forty seven kilometers is a lot of distance! My problem is not with being able to walk such a distance. But really, the issue is that he was going to WORK. How late would he turned up? Or did he plan the trip and left well ahead of time? Still, imagine how fatigued he must have been after walking that sorta distance!!! How much of the day's work would he succeed in doing? I guess it's just one of those tales elders tell us Grin

That is a normal thing, even I have a 50-year-old female sodara, but she still has a beautiful face like a 20-year-old teenager, even she is still strong to do sports such as running, dzumba, and sports in the gym.

He deserved to win an award for that. He might come down to Africa to claim the award.

science has proven that some things can be possible through the trace of evolution, it might be that your dad has evolved from a great stamina source.

How did he have enough time in the day? Walking speed is about 5KMh, so it would take nearly 7 hours each way, then an 8 hour day at work, and what 2 hours sleep?

I agree, he should have stayed home that day for public transport strike but now we know what he was capable of. I mean he walked 34 kilometers at age 47

I do not think anyone can walk 34 km. This is a far cry. Are your feet firm enough to walk so long? But if this is true, I think your father has a very good health, toughness. Take care of your dad, to enjoy more.

You certainly can walk that far, where I am from they do an annual walk of 28 miles for charity. It takes some just 6 hours to complete.

Sounds about right 5miles / hour. I walk frequently about 8 miles at least twice a month.

If you trained up for it you can walk that far with good shoes, but if your shoes rub in the slightest or your not ready then your going to get blisters a long time before your done.

All those money wasted in sports, fitness. $50 or $100 ticket. Football king "Ronaldo" offered $300 million to move to China

Ronaldo rejected €300,000,000 China move with €100m salary - Jorge Mendes

Cristiano Ronaldo's agent says the superstar rejected an offer from a Chinese Super League club that would have paid him over €100 million ($105,581,500) per year. Jorge Mendes confirmed to Sky Sports Italia in an interview released on Thursday night that the unnamed club were willing to pay Real Madrid a transfer fee of €300 million ($316,744,500).

"From China, they've offered €300m to Real Madrid and more than €100m per year to the player," Mendes said."But money is not everything; the Spanish club is his life."
