Hello everyone,

Website: https://cryptreview.com

I have created cryptreview in order to create a place where people can look up coins and quickly gain an overview of the fundamental value of it.

So far each review assesses the following areas:

  • Dev-Team
  • Features
  • Reach
  • Coin distribution
  • Fungibility
  • Privacy
  • Transparency
  • Potential
  • Business model

All reviews get checked and good ones are verified(reviewer gets a reward).

What do you guys think?

I get what you are trying to do, and it would be great if there was a feature like this embedded in exchanges. I am not sure how it will fare standalone, but maybe that is your vision down the road. Everyone has to start somewhere!  Smiley

Feedback:
The site lacks direction to the average browser (which also probably impacts SEO). It's not apparent what people are supposed to do once they get to the site, or even touting what the site is supposed to do for folks.

Very few projects are reviewed and I didn't see easily how they were scored. It appears one subjective reviewer so far?

The UI is a underwhelming. It doesn't look super modern, although the detail pages look a bit better. This probably would matter less if there was more data in there, which I bet is a chicken-and-egg problem of lack of community/usership.

Also - cryptreview is a bit of a bad website name - sounds like you're reviewing coffins or cemeteries.

Awesome, this is exactly the feedback I was looking for, thanks a lot.

Yeah, just me so far. I would like to first refine the review process / definition before proactively looking for reviewers.

why didnt you list my cryptotoken (C-PRO)?

i work hard and professional everyday to create a valuegenerative alternative to large scale ressource waste like bitcoin and large scale central bank fraud globally and then i am even not getting listed...

if you review websites continue listing shit and energy and ressource wasting token only because the miners have propagated them further you are one day will live with the negative image of it

The first thing I see when I open your site is a bunch of tickers. I find it annoying and the site is quite messy. I suggest changing the layout to a box type style.

Hey great work bro. Just checked your site. It seems perfectly fine but logo alone seems pretty similar to the VK site like clubbing the text together. Other than that your work awesome. When selecting the each coins it shows some tag list on above the coin information in detailed.
I do not think back button you have added is very much needy one.

Suggestions:
You have aligned the overview text in the center of the webpage. Move that to left side as 'OVERVIEW:'
Add more tabs followed by OVERVIEW on the right side. Example, you can add list like MOST POSITIVE TODAY(bumped coins), MOST NEGATIVE TODAY(dumped coins)
You can add the tokens are also in the list.

Sorry dude, I pull all coins that are listed on either coinmarketcap or cryptocompare, once your coin is listed there it will get added automatically.

Thanks for the feedback dude! I was thinking of adding something like coin of the day, I really like your tab idea! You are absolutely correct about the back button, I'm going to remove it asap.

Please make it clear how review is processed. Who put reviews or how this process work (if it's made by algorithms).

The idea is great and i like it very much, but there are some problems such as :
1. There's no info how the score is given and there are few obviously inaccurate number such Bitcoin got score 85 in Fungibility while everyone know bitcoin don't have Fungibility since each UXTO are unique and can be easily traced unless the owner use mixer.
More info : https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/1967/what-is-fungibility-and-why-does-it-matter
2. There are some wrong coins info such as Bitcoin total supply is 16.889.750, while we know Bitcoin maximum supply is 21 million.

My suggestion :
1. Make sure the one who verify the review at least have basic technical knowledge of popular cryptocurrency.
2. Consider give reviewer more reward option besides Bitcoin Cash.
3. Fix and add more general info such as it's coins Wiki page.
4. Full mobile support, i've tried open the website on mobile device, but the "review" tab isn't comfortable to see.

Thanks for the honest feedback!

1. Damn I never thought of it like that! Thanks for showing me that blindspot, I also changed the description of fungibility.
2. I will try to add new options in the future.
4. I have completely revamped the review part, should be better on mobile aswell now.

I was a little bit confused when I first hit the site. I feel like the overview page should be the homepage, so that new visitors can get into the content immediately. The UI is also a little busy. This page for example: https://cryptreview.com/#!/detail/ETH, maybe it's just me but my eyes really don't know where to focus because there's a lot going on.

I removed some of the colors now, what do you think?

Hello everyone,

Website: https://cryptreview.com

I have created cryptreview in order to create a place where people can look up coins and quickly gain an overview of the fundamental value of it.

~ snip ~

I try to view your website in two different browsers and compare everything side-by-side.

1. Google Chrome - looks like everything is fine.

2. Internet Explorer - this is where I got this weird issues. The score in the Spotlight is not loading, then I have to hover my mouse to the correct coordinates just to see the scores and its displaying a drop-down. And the total over is total invisible, I need to highlight, just to see the numbers.

3. Mobile - I haven't done any test yet, but I suggest you do on different platforms as well, (Android, IOS).

Nice site. Only restriction I see on it possibly is that coins that are not listed on coinmarketcap can't submit, is that correct?

Also how are you differentiating yourself from CMC, are you adding your own data?

Where did you see an option to Submit your own coin ? I tried looking for it on the main page but can't seem to find it.

Also how are you differentiating yourself from CMC, are you adding your own data?
Mostly yes.I see they have written their own API to the list of coin data.Usually, the API calls hit third party sites for serving the data which is not the same with this project. You can check that yourself in the network tab while onChange search event fires while searching a coin.

I don't see an option, that's why I'm asking. I think this is just restricted to coins that are listed on CMC....

Which also answers my second question. Cheers Patatas Cheesy

Yes if seen then the website feels confusing for most people, but if it is used then I feel comfortable. But one's first sight is very important, so tidying up and also making the website more simple and orderly is the thing to do. The main function of websites has been pretty good, just add some features and also tidy up the website layout then it can make the value increase. Overall we have to admit that today there are many websites that are much better and when want to compete then the website owner should be able to provide the best service. Yes competition in the world of crypto is very heavy.
