I will explain by direct practice method. Because if we just talk without showing or without us practicing I think they will just be confused and not understand at all or no picture at all. while explaining we show how things work and how to do things. we can also show some videos about bitcoin so they have an idea of bitcoin and train whether they can be taught or not, if we teach bitcoin to people who do not understand the technology we must explain in detail and extra patience.

It might be difficult to explain how Bitcoin works to someone who doesn't know much about technology. Most people don't see anything wrong with current financial system and they even are against cryptocurrencies because a TV reporter told that it is dangerous and easy way to lose money. People don't know what inflation is and most of them don't care what their country's national central bank does. I'm afraid that some people won't be able to understand it due to huge lacks in education or simply laziness.

It is a new currency that will make the world a better place by knocking down borders and ensuring everybody has a chance at banking. Hope that is concise enough!

For me the best way is to search for videos that orient about bitcoin after that teach him to register here and let him read so that he will have knowledge. If you know bitcoin so well you could explain it to him/her also.

There are a sh*t ton of videos on YouTube regarding how Bitcoin works but I prefer just to show my friends how it works via screen sharing or something like that.

You can tell them about virtual currency and virtual wallet. Take example of gmail or cloud computing. Also this forum can be helpful for teaching someone about bitcoin.Refer some videos and articles also.

Its easy ask them to explain money to you if they fail:- you already won if they succeed:- they end up saying it is controlled by government and backed by gold.
Then ask what is gold why is it that valuable if they fail:- you already won if they succeed:- they end up saying it is precious metal can not be created or destroyed on earth.
Explain that is what bitcoin is -A Digital Gold- cannot be created or Destroyed

So the bitcoin system works just as well. Only the task of this program is not to transfer files between users, but to give them "virtual glasses"

Videos are really helpful. One can demonstrate the returns being given by bitcoins in the form of charts so as to give them a correct idea about bitcoins. I first started with text only but when I started investing in bitcoins, I had to takr help of videos as well. This was required as I was not able to understand certain features of the exchange I was using for trading bitcoins. I just watched some video tutorials related to those features and was able to understand everything in very less time.

How would you explain what BitCoin is to someone that is not tech-savvy? Please share your ideas here.
Refer them in no investment and if there any problems like they can't read or write or use computer then teach them first after that back here in crypto to earn money all we need is be knowledgeable about crypto to earn so better to study it than to think negative about what we can't do and always move in your comfort zone then if you don't have knowledge or don't want to study it just leave or find other way

Trying to explain the bible to somebody who isn't tech savvy is like trying to explain logic to a christian, it does not compute.
If I were you, I would avoid trying to explain it to them. Typically people who aren't tech savvy as those who are not open to new ideas, I mean they have missed the technological revolution because of their own ignorance, why would they have any interest in learning about Bitcoin?

I think it's hard to explain Crypto on the people who is not techy it takes time to explain to them that there's a good thing by using your computers, My family too are not open minded in this kind of investment and they locked in the thinking that being just a office workers are the best thing to do to become successful in life but they didn't see that if you're just have a fixed salary how will you become successful in life?

God knows I have tried to teach my older brother about it but being not tech-savvy he just disregards it. I'm having the same problem. He doesn't even own a smartphone, just a regular one for calls and texts. I guess to start, the other person should have interest to learn.

The only best options is to encourage them to watch crypto videos and about bitcoin. Research also may help to explain what is bitcoin.

For me, being a tech-savvy is not really an edge here in bitcoin. As long as you got interest on it or on what you are doing, you can freely do bitcoin. But then, if you are really after want to do bitcoin even if they do not like, then influence them. Show them how bitcoin helped you.
