The current alt boom is coming to an end and bitcoin will rule supreme once again!

I hate to say this but if BTC figured out the lack of scalability before the faster networks gets mainstream- the guy actually has a point. There are so many places where bitcoin is accepted now even investing to ICOs we use bitcoin. I too bets that BTC will remain dominant this year..

A lot of very good crypto projects and I think that it is the time to grab some cheap altcoins at their bottoms because they will go up again sooner. Bitcoin is good bet but low profit...

In my opinion Bitcoin has always been and always will be supreme, but i believe that the altcoins are in the market to create a possibility flexibility in business and match the demand of Bitcoin. We can not be extremists on an obvious subject.

I don't know what you mean by dominace, do you think BTC will have 50% share of the market again, if that happens than I will say it is possible BTC will dominate the market, what is helping BTC most is that most of the trade is against it and as long as this trend continues t will remain the number one spot

it seems true ,
bitcoin dominance is increasing day by day ,, its dominance was less than 36% 2 month back when alts were at peak .
now its dominance close to 45% , and it may touch to 52-56% too .

Probably won't happen, my friend.
Bitcoin is just there... Not sure how to say it, but it isn't making anything more.
Some altcoins are actually doing some great stuff for the future. Although btc will remain as it is.

Yes, bitcoin will dominate. But some alts give growth much more to the growth of bitcoin. And this is the main reason for their purchase.

Yes, bitcoin will remain to be the best in the market, but you don’t actually need to sell your altcoins. Altcoins are doing a good job until now, they will survive and continue to compete with bitcoin. As long as they have support and potential technology that can be good for the future, they will continue to grow like bitcoin as well.

I also think that now is a good time to buy altcoins. they will soon grow madly and then they will be able to make a profit. Now there are many good projects on which the future will be. Of course, bitcoin will always dominate the market because it is the main crypto currency.

Bitcoin will always lead crypto simply because it was bitcoin who started this crypto world. That is why there are alts and besides more alts will come. Etc is the founder of this crypto so no one can make it follower instead it will always dominate.
While I do not have any doubt that bitcoin is going to be the leader for a long time at the same time we cannot use something so simplistic as explanation of why it is going to keep being at the top, there are many examples in technology and in different industries in which the leader and the one that originated the whole market eventually disappears and its surpassed by a new competitor that can do a better job.

I would have believed all of this until binance decided to accept USD which will destroy bitcoins dominance and allow altcoins to flourish. Demand for bitcoin may reduce as it won't be needed to convert money into altcoins and vice versa.

I find bitcoin maximalist thought process really disheartening and consistent with cognitive dissonance. What makes you think this relatively new asset class is zero sum? You sound like people who have been saying for years that BTC won't work or that it's a scam. You really think all of the innovation in the higher quality dev teams and coins are pointless and can instead just be done with bitcoin? Or that blockchain and crypto has no use outside of a virtual currency? It just baffles me. I guess the same stubborn personality is what allowed some of these people to hold bitcoin from whatever extremely cheap price they bought in at until the relatively astronomical levels it's at now.

Honestly, I think bitcoin maximalists are bitter and think that if altcoins didn't exist, that total valuation that they have would simply be in bitcoin and therefore, their btc would be worth more. As if ICOs, social media campaigns by dev teams, and innovative ideas for blockchain use hasn't moved adoption forward and therefore likely bitcoin, as well. Also, competition spurs innovation. So if bitcoin has competition, that's good for bitcoin development.

It's just so divisive to be so maximalist. And also gives a public bad image to bitcoin and crypto community. Which is good for no one.

The current alt boom is coming to an end and bitcoin will rule supreme once again!
even if this to happen, an increase on bitcoin's price could affect the price of alts as well if we talk about leaving the crypto market and converting from alts to bitcoin and then to fiat so i think selling alts at that time is not an option but rather holding it to wait for it to pump again while bitcoin has stabilized could earn bigger profit.

Seems your are right because the bitcoin started consuming the market slowly. In early January, the bitcoin market dominance was at 31% and it is currently at 44% today. Perhaps, the bitcoin domainance will reach 50-60% again before next altcoins boom.

i guess it is better to invest in different good cryptos that are there, we dont need to put all our investment to bitcoin, what if it goes on a big dip again and you dont have any back up, right?

The current alt boom is coming to an end and bitcoin will rule supreme once again!

Against all odds, when everyone proclaimed the "imminent" death of bitcoin, It has gradually emerged from a massive loss of dominance that led it from having 90% to only retain 30% marketcap in a few weeks, up to the current 44%.

It is true that the times of overwhelming dominance will hardly return before the emergence of many new altcoins with great growth potential, but the current recovery is a sign that whenever there is uncertainty in the market, bitcoin will remain as the preferred safe haven of all investors.
The market dominance of bitcoin is not really that important what it's important is its market cap and the reason for that is very simple the dominance of bitcoin needs to go down for the simple reason that every single day there are new projects emerging, and while many of those are not worth your time, there are always some good projects, some of them are going to get huge investments and that reduces the market dominance of bitcoin.
