Bitcoin core developer Peter Todd twitted several hours ago, saying that there were a lot of SegFaults in c programed Lightening Network testing. See below the original words:

Initial impressions of Lightning on testnet: c-lightning segfaults a lot, and when it's not crashing payments fail more often than not. Writing it in C - a notoriously dangerous language - doesn't strike me as a good idea.

What's your opinion on this? Does it mean that the LN is not right way for bitcoin scaling?
