RESOLVED. Blockchain.info just returned my money along with 2 extra BTC after over a month and within a few hours of posting about this on Reddit.

It has been a month since I lost over $500 to Blockchain.info's Shared Send service and I still haven't gotten any reply from them, except for the one when they simply closed my support ticket after a couple weeks on Zendesk.com

What exactly happened?
It's explained in the thread I linked to in the original post.

My BTC got lost in their Shared Send service and never reached the recipient, and I've tried everything I could to contact them but I've gotten exactly zero response. Apparently "piuk" is the guy who represents the site on this forum and he's ignoring my messages.

You're saying blockchain.info would steal a measly 5 Bitcoin?  Why not just steal everything and run away with it, huh? Tongue

Hey, Dartharthas, can you let me know publicly or privately what name you submitted the ticket under? I'd like to assist you more, but I want to do it privately through ZenDesk. Thanks, and sorry for the delay with this!

I've opened a new ticket since the last one just got closed by "Roger" without any response for a month except "We are closing this support ticket because it is now several weeks old.
The good news is that we have hired a new support person to help with any questions you may have. If you still have a pending issue, please open a new ticket and will reply right away."

I'm PMing you the details.

I also think something went wrong.
Why steal 5000 when you can steal 5 mill.
Would there be more gain for blockchain than losses from the bad publicity it would get?

I don't think they stole it. Maybe directly contact one of the administrators of Blockchain here?

Apparently there are problems with shared send, lots of people lost BTC. Check other forum threads, it is real.

The shared send is a problem, but they are not purposely stealing your btc.  You really think that blockchain is out to steal 5 btc from you, when they deal with probably hundreds of thousands of btc each day?

how do you know they are not stealing BTC? so many people have complained about shared address taking BTC and not giving it back.

Mandrik it's been over a week since I opened another ticket and you guys are ignoring it again. The Ben or whoever you "escalated" to hasn't replied yet at all.

UPDATE: The issue has been resolved. I just received 7 BTC from Blockchain.info. Many thanks to the amazing Bitcoin community on Reddit for bringing it their attention.
