@werauchimmer: HILFE!
When I try to change the bfgminer settings in minepeons webUI, the BFs just won't start hashing
I sent you a PN, just reply if this does not help. German and English are both okay. Apologies if this explanation is too basic.
Be sure to follow the
whole instructions, including wget'ting the bfgminer version. You can easily do that via ssh'ing (putty is a nice tool for that) into the minepeon box. Then make sure that you set ALL devices manually in the script box under "Settings", like this:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 10
/usr/bin/screen -dmS miner /opt/minepeon/bin/bfgminer-fury -S bitfury:/dev/ttyACM0 -S ICA:/dev/ttyUSB0 -S ICA:/dev/ttyUSB1 -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf
Note: These are my settings, yours might not be ACM0 and USB0&USB1. Basically ACM is for the bitfurys, USB is for eruptors, if you have any. 0 is for the first device, 1 for the second... then its just a matter of counting up. So if you have two bitfurys, and three eruptors for example, it would be:
/usr/bin/screen -dmS miner /opt/minepeon/bin/bfgminer-fury -S bitfury:/dev/ttyACM0 -S bitfury:/dev/ttyACM1 -S ICA:/dev/ttyUSB0 -S ICA:/dev/ttyUSB1 -S ICA:/dev/ttyUSB2 -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf
BTW: Note how it says "bfgminer-fury" instead of "bfgminer"? That's because the whole wget thing downloaded a bfgminer version different from what is installed. tk1337 is working on a more up-to-date version for minepeon, too, he said. That man is my hero. :-)
You can check if all devices are available, by doing "ls /dev/tty*" in the ssh window. That should show you a list of devices.
