Today’s analysis will cover Mossland project by Reality Reflection Inc.
‘Mossland’ is a location-based AR (Augmented Reality) mobile game based on real estate.

Reality Reflection Inc, which is developing Mossland, has launched some successful VR (Virtual Reality) games.
According to their website, the VR games have a title of the first VR game launched on Steam, a PC game platform, and they were nominated as one of the 50 Oculus Touch Launch Titles.
What is more, their 3D Human Scanning Studio, that is the biggest scale in Asia, is the root of a digital human avatar technology. To prove this, a lot of celebrities have visited their studio to make their own avatars.

Reality Reflection Inc. is also scheduled to show off the 3D human avatar technology with SKT, one of the biggest telecom companies in Korea, in upcoming MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2018. As written on the website, Reality Reflection is officially supported by SKT.
Based on given circumstances, their quality of the technology seems to be very good.

However, they have never launched AR games so far, and it is never easy to apply the AR accessories on the buildings considering a variety of degrees, views, distances and sizes of landmarks. So, although they have proved the strong skills, I am curious how they will apply the crucial technology, AR, to Mossland. We should monitor the soft launch to solve the quesiton.


3. Team members / Advisors

As the most fatal risk in ICOs is SCAM damaging the trust of ICOs, the level of trust is a key issue.
Mossland shows the solid trust by the quality of members.
The team consists of experts such as graphic experts, game planners, software developers.

Firstly, Wooram Son, the CEO of Reality Reflection, and Sean Oh, Co-Founder, used to work for Samsung Electronics, and Wooram Son was awarded by Ministry of Education Human Resources Development in Korea.

I had doubt that experts were strong at game graphics and software development, but could not find any blockchain experts.
Reality Reflection replaces this with luxury advisors.

Jason Han, an adjunct professor at KAIST MBA, joined as a blockchain advisor.
Louis Jinhwa Kim, a Co-founder and director of Korea Blockchain Association, also gives advice related to blockchain for Mossland. He was called up as a representative expert of cryptocurrency for the discussion held by the National Assembly.
Furthermore, Duhee Lee, a founder of LIKELION, participate in Mossland as a start-up advisor. He gave a good impression in a TV programme called Genious.
Widjaja Tannady, the director of Pacific Place Jakarta which is one of the largest shopping malls in Indonesia, is a real estate advisor who might also affect the Indonesian cryptocurrency market positively.

As seen, team members and advisors cannot be compared to other projects and highly reliable. Therefore, I also want to give high score for this criteria.

Nevertheless, Reality Reflection might not have enough employees to manage all of their games as it is a start-up, so they should recruit more experts for such a big project, Mossland.

The most frequently mentioned competitor is Decentraland.
The biggest difference between them is that Decentraland is a VR game and Mossland is based on the AR technology.

Absolutely, pros and cons exist.
Decentraland is the game to create the new virtual world, which means users may enjoy a relatively unconstrained interface.
The downside of it is the VR equipment that costs a lot of money. This is the common reason why VR games are not diffused yet. For this reason, it will probably take longer time to be adopted.

In the case of Mossland, users are encouraged to explore the game with AR which allows them to be immersed in Mossland. How can I become the owner of my first property?

There are three ownership methods that can be used and modified based on player choices and planning: weekly ownership, monthly ownership and permanent ownership. Weekly ownership is valid for 7 days, when a user receives property development missions. Monthly ownership can be provided to those who acquire weekly ownership. To solidify this right, users receive and complete more difficult missions. Moss Coin Distribution
Dear Mossland Supporters,

We are writing to answer some concerns related to Moss Coin distribution addressed in Mossland communities.

All Moss Coins will be distributed before the listing on the exchange. The specific date will be determined after the completion of KYC Audit, which is in progress. In order to guarantee equality, all Moss Coins excluding the locked up amounts will be distributed simultaneously. Simultaneous distribution applies to bonus amounts as well.

As part of effective overseas marketing, Mossland partnered with Bountyhive, a global marketing agency, and conducted a bounty program. Escrow of 2,500,000 Moss Coins were to be distributed to the participants by Bountyhive and remaining amounts proportional to the ICO hard cap achievement were to be returned back to Mossland.

The agreement included conditions that the date of bounty program participants’ distribution will be the same as Mossland ICO participants’ distribution and that the distribution will not happen without Mossland’s permission. However, we have confirmed that Bountyhive had ignored the above mentioned conditions and distributed all of the assigned Moscoins without our consent on April 16th.

Bountyhive acknowledged the breach of contract on their part and we have terminated our contract. We are taking all possible measures to prevent any disadvantages to our ICO participants.

Specific details will be announced through the following notice. Coins distributed through Bountyhive program will be annulled. Do not trade any unofficial coins through P2P other than the Moss Coins that will be officially registered on the exchange.

!! Official Moss Coin has not been distributed yet !!

Bountyhive program participants should not use their unofficial coins in any transactions if they want to be compensated with authentic coins. Valid coins will be reissued on the official Moss Coin distribution date. Please note that all responsibilities for disadvantages or damage incurred from the use of unofficial coins lie with the user.

Distribution of Moss Coin will take place at 11:00(UTC+0). Moss Coin will be distributed to the wallet address that has been used for KYC registration and ICO participation. The time of reception may vary according to Ethereum network status.

 
When you receive Moss Coins, you should add coins to your custom token in order to verify the amount of coins received. Follow instructions below.

1. Click View Wallet Info button to access your wallet.

2. Click Custom Token

3. Enter 0xa4e2602390a09bf75fd7a591adc1ee4d2909f89b into Token Contract Address.

4. Enter MOC into Token Symbol.

5. Enter 18 into Decimals.

6. Press Save button in order to complete the adding of custom token.

When you complete the adding of custom token, you will be able to check the number of Moss Coins in your possession.

You will still be able to receive Moss Coins without adding custom token, but you will not be able to verify the number of coins received.
