Trying to find out the total value transacted to date over the Bitcoin network. IE: Not the total value of transactions per day, but the total value over all time.

Anybody have a source for this measured in USD?

You can use Blockchain.info: https://blockchain.info/charts/estimated-transaction-volume-usd
Change the timestamp to "All time", save to CSV, open it using EXCEL and sum everything.

In my Knowledge it is 5 Trillion dollars and even more but the volume is eye opener for banks without no central authority bitcoin proved and able to transfer peer to peer
