Is MEW Safe to use now?

1. Opening emails from imposters pretending to be a MEW team;
2. Publishing your private key somewhere in the web;
3. Storing your private key in a text file on your computer;
4. Logging in every single time in a rush just to check whether you've received some shitcoins from airdrops. One day you will end up on a phishing site.

i think MEW still safe. keep your wallet safe with keeping your private key , dont try to click suspicious link on email/forum, use metamask and make sure MEW link is right not phising web

recently, users of MyEtherWallet have reported they have been stolen tokens from their wallet, right after that, we have known there are phising sites that look very much the same to MEW, making investors input their private key for phising sites. Now MEW has encrease the security machanism to warm people about phising site, MEW is completly safe to use for now, but not in the future, so we should always careful with our privatekey before loggin in MEW.

MyEtherWallet is an Ethereum account wallet generator and it depends on how you protect your wallet keys because when your mew was compromised then it's all your fault because you should be taking care of your private keys at all times.
Never use your keys into public computers or virus infected devices. Or you're going to buy hardware wallet and save your private key on your hardware wallet device so you could delete your wallet and then rely on your new hardware wallet whenever you are going to  access your Crypto asset account.

Indeed, myetherwallet is my first Crypto Wallet until today. My one year old mew wallet is still safe because I am taking take of my prove key in order to not get hacked, hijacked and other hacker access through my devices.
MyEtherWallet is still the best choice for Ethereum and ERC20 users in the Crypto Market today.

It is still very safe to use and nothing has changed. As long as you are not on a phishing site and you keep your private key safe to the address you are holding your assets, then you should not have any problem. It is good you asked since security is very important, but the only thing that changed so far is the split between the team. So you should be fine.

it is clear in MEW when you enter the site there will be a warning in advance so as not to enter the phishing site.
so far I am still safe using MEW and use bookmark on your PC on the right site to keep your account safe.

i think my etherwallet (mew) is fully secure.  because my etherwallet provides a secret private key which is only known by its users only. but someone can forget private key he will loss all.

I don't remember the time when MyEtherWallet wasn't safe to use.
MyEtherWallet it's just an interface with the Blockchain, nothing else. So if there is something unsafe it might be because your computer isn't secured.

I never had a problem using MYETHERWALLET.
but i made sure that i am doing the right way to secure my wallets.
*make wallet not just 1 but more.
*use the wallet for your airdrop and make another for campaigns you are joining.
*Make sure to have one wallet for your main source and savings.
*every token you earn, you can send it to your main wallet.
*never expose to public your password or private key and always make a soft copy of it.
*write your private key on your notebook or any physical paper.

Yes MEW (Myetherwallet) is still safe. As long as it does not know your private key, and you can not log in to a phishing site that MEW is still safe.

Yup, it's worth noting that your own personal computer should be also securely defended so that your wallet doesn't get hacked somehow.

MEW is very much safe. You are in charge of your own security. That's the deal with decentralized stuffs.

Protect yourself by all cost. Be paranoid about your security. Treat yourself wallet as you treat your bank account.
