I can't say he is not right, but the crypto as a whole, it's going to be embraced by the world. Governments are ruled by men, and we the people make the rules.

I think with over a thousand cryptocurrencies on the crypto market all with a different purpose I honestly see this to be partly true and I really appreciate Bill Gates contribution towards todays technology and he might be right to say some could be used by terrorists but digital currencies are as good as fiat when it comes to this area of concern.

I think he should write a text about. He just answers what people are asking and as the answer is small, it looks like is different. But he, as a tech guy, should be excited about the technology. But as someone that has some concerns about the world and drugs, could want that government has more control over cryptocurrency.

He just want to control the price of bitcoin by his
statements. When he wants to buy, "he'll say bitcoin is a piece
of shit". And when he wants to sell his btc, he'll say, "bitcoin
is the future and is going to the moon".

Bill Gates is definetely a great guy but I prefer to avoid the information that different businessmen say simply because pretty often it may be just another bullshit that will only disappoint you in people that you've respectrd before.
Just a couple words about Bill Gates and how they are spreading FUD everywhere: not so long ago he claimed that Trump is wromg about his tax reform and that wealthy people should bay more taxes. Meanwhile you can always donate the US government if you feel like you've underpayed some taxes. Guess how many of people like Bill Gates do that?
Some people could think that he is saying it because he care about the country, society etc. But imho this is something like a brand new art of talking bullshit in order to take some more media space (and obviously look better in the eyes of mainstream) but at the same time not doing anything.
There is the same situation with cryptocurrencies where everyone is trying to bring some FUD without doing anything. People should leard how to avoin this kind of news.

Yes. But it is very easier for criminals when they use bitcoin and make it more difficult for governments. It can cause more illegal activities to be done.
