We all know that Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world and it seems unlikely he has not noticed at all the potential of blockchain technology on the economy. I'm sure he has some bitcoin but because of the anonymity that this blockchain technology uses, we know who has bitcoin. In the future, I am sure Bill Gates will follow John McAfee and jointly support the crypto.

The main feature of crypto currencies is their anonymity. I don't think this is a good thing. The Governments ability to find money laundering and tax evasion and terrorist funding is a good thing. Right now crypto currencies are used for buying fentanyl and other drugs so it is a rare technology that has caused deaths in a fairly direct way. I think the speculative wave around ICOs and crypto currencies is super risky for those who go long.

Yes, part of what he said was right. But that will not stop the development of cryptocurrency, which is getting better and better. Some celebrities are critical of cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, which they believe have helped criminals, and have actually invested in bitcoin.
