When an airdrop it´s near it´s time to buy?

I have a good amount of NEO and I plan to purchase a good amount of monero and Oyster to receive the tokens of the next airdrops,my question it´s next:

When do you think it´s a good time to purchase the token of the airdrop?I think that it´s reasonable to think that the price will increase.

And on the other hand,when the airdrop it´s completed it´s usually for the original token (Monero in this case) to decrease his price? (I think that it´s possible that people that purchase tokens for the airdrop plan to sell it when the airdrop it´s completed)

Usually when there is a fork coming out you go ahead and buy. And yes, it is the case of ETC, PIRL or MONERO. But be aware that the price will mostlikely fall after the fork/airdrop.
Try to purcahse the coin the second you hear about the airdrop/fork news.
