I want to know from what countries do people invest in ICOs? With the new regulations, do that many really still come from the US? China has also banned them. So where do all the investors come from? Thanks!

Why is this information useful to you? Are you making a survey for a project or something or is this pure curiosity and spamming of the forum?

to find out I think it is very difficult to guess. imagine the millions who come to be investors, and we do not know from the participating countries. I think they are people who love bitcoin. that's what I thought of as a bitcoin lover

I am doing research for an upcoming project, and I am also very curious. I see many websites that mention what countries publish ICOs. For example, Singapore, Switzerland and the Cayman islands. However, there is very little information about who exactly invests in the ICOs. I think that is more interesting, but I can't find out too much information online. Hence, why I am coming to the forum for help  Grin.

I do not think crypto investment is country specific, but more project specific. Most countries should accept and support a useful, innovative project, but this is just a personal opinion, dont think it can help in your research.

To more successfully, if you are taking a survey, you should say what is it for, maybe some details about the project and maybe a pool.
At a first look, this seems like a topic made by a newbie who wants just to increase it post count.
If you want details from the community you should give details about what do you want to do with them... it seems only fair.

Come on,  people can always use their VPN or anonymizer or whatever else to put their money where they want it to be.

It is difficult to tell, as there is probably a lot of VPN use from banned countries. But now that a lot of ICOs have KYC requirements, that should in theory mean that it will change so there will be very few if any from the banned countries.

I am sure that still a lot of people are investing from the US and China. People just find different ways to circumvent the law.

In theory you can invest in ico no matter from where you are. There can be indicated country at project's registration form but this information doesn't very important for a lot of developers. Moreover most of ICOs have to be anonymoty.
