I think litecoin's price is going to go up soon, since it is such a great BTC alternative, with active development and publicity, it will escalate. But it is darkly funny how the price doesn't seem to move much, when even when some coin that came after it and some ICOs are making everyone else rich. Litecoin really need to be worked upon.

Ethereum is very much more different than litecoin. Ethereum has a massive demand due to some ICO's making their coin on the ethereum blockchain that is why it hits the market. Also it appeals like money replacement like the bitcoin it has proven its use in the world of crypto.

While litecoin is also a promising one but its only ambitious to be like bitcoin. That is why its popularity is also known but it lacks of demand. And people are not accustomed in using litecoin that is why the growth is like a snail. Litecoin has been tittled as bitcoin's younger brother and its journey in the crypto world is not yet ended. There is a chance that soon it could reach $500 as you've expected.

Though it is growing pretty slowly, as you've noticed, it's definitely not some crap. People love it, because Bitcoin has proven that it's possible for cryptocurrencies to enter a hundred-billion dollar market.

How is that relevant to Litecoin? Well, in many people's eyes, Litecoin is superior to Bitcoin: Faster & Cheaper transactions and a growing acceptance across the internet.
With a supply 4 times as high as Bitcoin, Litecoin's potential, if it'd grow to Bitcoin's heights, is thus a price that's 25% of Bitcoin's, thus entering a value of thousands of dollars. That, together with an active community supporting it.

Bitcoin's price is mainly based on "OMG, so many peoples knows it so I must buy buy buy coz others will buy buy buy then grow larger price then me rich me rich yes yes yes". Not an insanely intelligent kind of investor, most of the time.
Litecoin's price isn't based on that (yet). Sadly, it has many competitors too and that keeps it from growing very rapidly. It's market cap is still 11 billion dollars, which is very likely more money than all of you together will ever obtain.
Ethereum grew as rapidly, because so many ICOs (mostly scam/shit ones), put their tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and accept it in their Token Sale.

So don't compare it to other coins too much. Litecoin is a great coin. Though it grows slowly, it's actually more of a future-proof coin: Low Volatility will make people trust it more.

Its because of real use case ethereum getting its value because its holding lots of succesful project in ethereum blockchain . But litecoin actually got some hype and value after charlie lee joined litecoin team . If charlie lee doesnt join litecoin team it would never reach this 200$ mark.

"slow but sure" a worthy slogan for litecoin. average users and new investors only invest in ico, especially if ico is giving a very big bonus. but they have missed the hidden gem, that is litecoin (alt first).

now you can compare to choose a slow but with full certainty and a definite future or a new project with big bonuses and fast growth "he said".

slow does not mean to fail, but they are more mature in carrying out his plan and a great job requires a process to achieve it.

But, on the other side of the fence is the truth that Litecoin remains very solid despite the fact that a lot of new coins offering some seemingly better deals are sprouting everywhere. Litecoin is old. Yes, but at least they are still widely used. If you invest in Litecoin, it is futile to make a short-term goal. It should be long term. At least with this choice, you are a bit more assured of a coin that will not easily die.

reason is the owners behind litecoin needs to be up and doing.

they should find quality and suitable use cases for the coin.

Ltc is one of the few altcoins currently in the Crypto world with so great potentials. However, the current market dip problems may start to send shivers into the bodies of its holders thinking that the coin is shitty or falling below expectations. This is normal actually cos different people have their level of holding their patience. Litecoin doesn't offer any superior tech side over bitcoin, where as ethereum was made to a place for smartcotracts and tokens and we are seeing that there are many dapps and smartcontracts being built and tested over there. Litecoin was made to be silver to bitcoin as a gold, by tweaking the code a bit litecoin gained faster blocks. If you look in the past it was pretty stable like 4$ until we've heard that they are going to implement SegWit and to be honest with you this was a simple but yet effective marketing trick from their dev side as at that time you had huge bitcoin debate. Litecoin even don't need SegWit nor it was an urgent thing to do, but they saw opportunity and from that point ltc price started to grow. But because there are no sudden pumps and dumps it could be used more for services and merchants as everybody loves stable currency, although it could dump or pump itself of course.

If you know about the fact of litecoin was not revolutionary as ethereum itself.
it has been created to fixed the scalability of bitcoin itself and no more and you can't expect more from the litecoin itself.

It's just like another bitcoin fork coin bit i called litecoin as a lite version of the bitcoin itself. remember ethereum offers smartcontract which that was something new in the crypto.

In this time it has been used by a lot of projects because they are seeing an opportunity in the smartcontract can be used to solved or created innovative ideas.

Slowly is good in a way i believe it is one of the safest investments, its one of the less volatile.
Maybe when Charlie Lee sold all his coins, people stopped believing in it as much?
Its a good project, with a good future i expect in to hit $500 by end of year

When the bull market comes, it stopped rising, but when the bear market will quickly, it has a sharp rise, I already don't want to invest in the litecoin, I think that there is no future for the litecoin.

After commenting several topics on Litecoin, i will go analyzing differently. The fact of being slow means that it does not have much to add, What does Litecoin have of special that other meda does not have and can not have easily? In conclusion Litecoin just did not fail because it served as a quick currency in the exchanges, because we know that it is faster than Bitcoin, one of the qualities of Litecoin.
