Description

xPoS

Bitcoin Evolution (a.k.a BitcoinEvo) is a Bitcoin-core fork cryptocurrency which introduces a new series of improvements compared to the original protocol.
First Bitcoin Evolution uses an xPoS mining algo which permits to the user to mint new coins simply holding their XBTE (Bitcoin Evolution coins) in their wallet without "moving" them from the address where they are stored. This means that there is no more need to own special mining hardware or powerful GPUs to mine Bitcoin Evolution. Anyone can do this simply storing coins in the wallet and wait until they start "staking", meaning that xPoS mining has started.

Bitcoin Evolution blockchain will be however secured with a starting period of 0 block reward block mined with PoW which will last until block 5760.
This is a security measure against initial blockchain attacks until full xPoS will be activated on the network (block 500 and after).
After block 5760 Bitcoin Evolution blockchain will use xPoS only.

xPoS gives coin holders a fixed yearly interest reward of 2,5%, based on the amount of coins owned.
However, to encourage initial coin holding and xPoS nodes popping, we set a decreasing xPoS block reward, starting from 25 XBTE, halving each 10k blocks, up to 6 XBTE per block. xPoS decreasing block reward will be active from block 500 to block 50000 (50k). After block 50k xPoS will reward coin holders with a fixed 2,5% interest on the coins owned.


Sidechain technology

Sidechain technology brings to cryptocurrencies a lighter byte weight and data independency which does not burden the mainchain with the data inflation. It is a nature partition mechanism. Also, by using sidechain it's very flexible to customize blockchain parameters such as block interval, transaction fee, and rewards etc. while creating private blockchains.*
Thanks to sidechain and bigger blocksize XBTE supports unlimited uploads into the blockchain, without the risk of overloading its data weight.

This means that the block reward for xPoS blocks will decrese by an half each 10k block of mining, descending from 25 XBTE per block to 6 XBTE per block.
During xPoS period will be created nearly 470k XBTE.
After block 50k fixed interest rate of 2,5% yearly will be paid on PoS mining.

Assuming that we want to reward first cryptocurrencies early adopters, such BTC users, which we'll reward with a super nice 2:1 ratio, you should take into consideration that total world population is 6 Billions circa and at least 50% is enough technologically advanced to become a cryptocurrencies user. If we want to give opportunity to every person to start using cryptocurrencies for free without a penalisation for BTC owners in airdrop claim we have to set a low amount of XBTE to give out with "free" airdrop.

Hope you can understand this concept and so understand why the free airdrop amount of coins is "such low".
Also remember that since we are distributing coins to BTC holders, 42 Millions XBTE are reserved for a potential claim with the 21 Millions BTC in circulation in the future, the others are for free airdrop and community bounties, which we'll announce soon!
