На днях вышел новый релиз «родного» кошелька биткойна. Все знают, что он «принес с собой SegWit», но что именно?

Segwit увеличил пропускную способность сети. Пользователи кошелька Bitcoin Core, которые имеют средства и тратят их с этих адресов, смогут использовать дополнительное пространство блоков, которое и предлагает Segwit. В сравнении с транзакциями без этой технологии, пользователи смогут платить более низкие комиссии.
