What project is Plaza's consensus mechanism most similar to? Nano? DPOS or a DAG?

Far from DPOS, as that involves preset witnesses based on a proof of stake. Not really like nano, as that involves individual blockchains. Out of the 3, closer to a DAG like IOTA, but there are some big differences from that as well.
