Hacker was able to access peoples funds sell off for btc and withdrawl users were helpless as they watched.

Odd there is no thread yet

Start the discussion

EDIT: More info

Apparently hacker was able to inject code through the chatbox.

I watched users complain of their balances disappearing or being sold off and withdrawn. Attacker made off pretty nicely from what I saw. Crashed the price of AsicCoin 50% using helpless users funds

EDIT 2:

Almost forgot the best part

Random pop ups from the site saying

" The website at coinex.pw says: Nigger Go Home! "

Really?

That is pretty bad. These new exchanges should not have automatic withdrawals, if they keep losing their funds.

I didn't have any issues.  I did have 2fa enabled, perhaps that's why.  I did notice a weird glitch where the screen would auto-scroll to the bottom, that's it.

all my coins are also still on there. I would expect a bit more crying threads if anything like that actually happened?

This is news to me.  What an interesting attack,  hope this issue has been taken care of and all bugs are out of the system.  That is a pretty bizarre attack if you ask me.
