If it wasn't already, Bitcoin is definitely on its way to an interesting adventure. Grab as much as you can, buy as much stuff with it as you can, and please leave arms and legs in the bitcoin bandwagon, it's like a tron semi and it's going at 200m/s.

bitcoin has been following the price of gold. With the government shutdown next week it should spike to around $200. The longer the shutdown the higher it will go. Notice how the trading volume has increase several fold on mtgox. BTC has become a store of value since the Cyprus crisis

The question to ask which may lead to the answer to this one is what could/may/is likely to occur that could affect the price of Bitcoin.

I think sooner rather than later it would be no longer good to measure price in USD. Dollar is back on the way to shit IMHO, exchange price has already dropped to 6 month minimum here, and it's not that CZK price is rising - Euro is still high. If it would go another 0,5 CZK/USD, than it would be lowest price in 2 years. It is now <19 CZK/USD, lowest price in history was 16,35 in may 2011.

Agreed but there wont be a US shutdown next week. there will be a last minute, saved by the bell deal where all sides will claim political credit for saving the world economy while just kicking the can a few months further down the road. However, if the world economy tanks (which it is due to) then BTC may well spike again!

I hope it doesn't because is better for everyone and in particular the families that are dependent on their federal salary. Depending on your age, you may remember the shutdown during the clinton years. As a side note DHS has been moving their civil unrest resources to region 3 (DC,Virgina,Marylan) and troops have their leave canceled after oct 1st. The administration maybe preparing for a long fight (youtubers claim is because of ISON of course lol), so we'll see on Tuesday.

Average about 150, many scenarios possible, the most intreresting is rise to about 250 and fall to under 1 in 3rd or 4th quarter of 2014. Life is bitch if it really happens

Middle of next year, my estimation is at least about $350-$400, and would be disappointedly surprised were it much below that.

Did you draw up that graph when you were drunk? lol ...
The prediction scale is awesome.
Everything around it is a convoluted mess. Its a great concept though. You should put it on an actual graph with actual X and Y axis with proper labels at the various increments.
