Relax man! It's just been a couple hours since they posted the article so I'm pretty sure no one has received their wallets yet but if you're looking for reviews, you better go with youtube since it'll most likely be the fastest to have a review and it'll be more detailed there. EDIT: Now that you mentioned it, I personally didn't like the touchscreen since first the screen is just small so navigating feels kinds off and there's misclicks too. Honestly, I prefer the buttons more but we'll see when the reviews come

This is my first time hearing out such update and I would try to search informations related to this.I agree that youtube is one of the fastest mediums when it comes to new updates, reviews of a particular stuff.Same comment about difference among two I will still stick to the standard ones.

Honestly, I prefer the buttons more but we'll see when the reviews come Well that's kind of truth, clicking with small screen will cause misclicks and kind of uncomfortable to use IMO. But theres still no reviews about this HW on youtube if I'm correct with my research so lets just wait then. But totally it looks good for this upgrade, hope I can get one since I only use ledger nano.

all operations requiring entry of confidential data will be done exclusively on the device screen,12-word and 24-word seed.
It has always been like this though, even with the non-touch screen Trezor, and the Ledger Nano S. Now that you mentioned it, I personally didn't like the touchscreen since first the screen is just small so navigating feels kinds off and there's misclicks too. Honestly, I prefer the buttons more but we'll see when the reviews come Pretty much. It just comes down to personal preference. One upside of a touch screen is probably that it will last longer compared to the buttons of the Trezor and Ledger Nano S, as they just feels so fragile in my opinion. Personally I'll stick with the Ledger Nano S though, I prefer that sort of USB flash drive look.

You have fudgy fat fingers too? Your nostrils must also be big like mine lol. Jokes aside, I might consider ordering this. But I would advice to wait for security issues encountered by the first users. They are the real beta testers lol.

A mini pen would be nice. One that can be attached to the device or inserted in it.
If it’s future proof, I would love to own one. By that I mean if the software within it can be updated to adapt to future forks or upgrades in crypto technology. I still fully trust in the safety of paper wallets. Duplicates of it kept in very secure locations or a bank’s safe deposit box is still unbeatable. It’s the perfect cold storage wallet. One can never really trust any wallet software these days.
I love the concept of these devices being very safe even when linked to infected phones or laptops.

Anything that takes as much functionality as possible away from a computer gets a thumbs up from me. The creativity of nefarious types is only going to get better and better. If you have to buy a Thai chicken to do your touchscreen typing then that's a cost worth paying.

It's funny, I was thinking the exact opposite. In m mind it's another think to go wrong that I can't fix. Touch screens are nice, but adding complexity to something that is not user serviceable that can control money is bad IMO. -Dave

Trezor wallet now comes with an inbuilt mp3 player and supports Bluetooth audio connections up-to storage capacity of 8 gbs ? This isn't product development,it's dissolving the cause product was designed for. Anything that takes as much functionality as possible away from a computer gets a thumbs up from me. How does touch-screen change anything ? Read the point above, creativity shouldn't make a duck look like a buffalo. That isn't art, this is just plain randomness.

A touchscreen means you no longer have to enter your pin on a computer. Seems fairly obvious to me. A computer screen is another interface that can be watched, intercepted or corrupted by an attacker.

Touchscreen might be easier to break but it is definitely better than it comes to using it. Also, PIN, seed and passphrase can be entered directly on the device so at least you don't have to worry about keyloggers. Ledger was the first one to create a touchscreen wallet with Bluetooth (which isn't supported by any app) and they discontinued their product which was more expensive than Trezor T and had less features (lack of SD card slot for example but is is probably due to the design of Ledger's devices).

A computer screen is another interface that can be watched, intercepted or corrupted by an attacker. Interface wise ,would you prefer typing on a small device which can barely fit your thumb or a computer which would give you a better view of the keys being typed ? Touch screen can stop working, break on dropping the device on the floor, become unresponsive. Are you considering these negatives ? I'm not saying computers don't hang but the recovery time would be much faster than trezor.Anyway,it's subjective.

I don't give a runny shit about the ergonomics if it increases security. Nor should anyone else. We're not talking armchairs or phones. We're talking large amounts of money. Protecting that takes the priority over any other factor by a country mile. Sounds like your all action lifestyle is not a fit for this. There are plenty of other options.
