I just got set up mining BBP and am wondering why my hashrate is so low: The "getmininginfo" command shows only 3.2Khs on a 2x Xeon Quad-core 2.66Ghz setup with 24Mb L3 Cache and 8 Logical Processors per CPU, 16 total.

When I look at the Biblepay Leaderboard, the hashrate shows 65.7Khs with 1 physical machine and 2 logical machines, so a large hashrate discrepancy. Which one of these is not reported accurately?

EDIT 1: I increased threads from 12 to 16 using "setgenerate true 16" and the Leaderboard hashrate jumped to almost 97Khs temporarily, but the hashrate displayed using "getmininginfo" pretty much stayed the same at around 3.5Khs. Why this extreme discrepancy?

Is there some calculation going on using a formula I am unaware of? Threads X Cores X "getmininginfo" hashrate? Something else? I also see that when I was at 97Khs the number of LogicalMachines displayed on the Leaderboard was 4, but has now dropped to 3 and the Leaderboard hashrate is only 74Khs, so what is the connection with the number of logical machines? The loss of 1 logical machine does seem to correspond to the approximately 25% decrease in hashrate. How are the number of logical machines determined? How can I increase/decrease the number of logical machines?

EDIT 2: LogicalMachines has now dropped from 3 to 1 and the Leaderboard hashrate has dropped to only 20Khs while the hashrate shown by "getmininginfo" has stayed at 3.5Khs. So, LogicalMachines definitely has some affect. My system settings and hardware aren't changing so why would this number fluctuate at all?

EDIT 3: Something strange is going on. My information has completely disappeared from the Leaderboard even though "getmininginfo" confirms I am connected to the pool and mining. Logging out and back in did not fix it.

EDIT 4: (mere minutes after posting EDIT 3) And we're back... but now with 1 physical machine and ZERO logical machines and only mining at 4.5Khs.

EDIT 5: Leaderboard now shows me as completely disconnected (even after logoff/logon) despite "getmininginfo" confirming pool connection and active mining at 3.6Khs.

What is going on with all these crazy fluctuations in hashrate and number of logical machines?

How can I specify the number of logical machines? Is there a console command?
