yes I strongly agree because hackers also will not hack someone randomly, it's all also because of ourselves too, if we are too cocky about ourselves and btc of course it will lure people who are not responsible for committing crimes against us.

if annon wanted to take Bitcoin down then they could do it in seconds and if microsoft wanted your passwords then they will already have them
plus we have an enemy within and i am not talking about the bitcoin development team here.

running Linux from a pen-stick if your using a windows machine but using something like Mint and not Tails is advise I should take myself
but i am only playing with dust and too old to learn a new OS, well lazy too.

I am angry with hackers! They steal the money and coins from others. They don't know how that coins they stole important to everyone and they did not care if someone lose their money. As long as they are alive, alive in a way that their needs and wants supported by means of stealing from someone else.

How do I say this nice

OK I will just come out and says it because apparently our trusted leader Satoshi Nakamoto is in trouble for taking $5bn worth of Bitcoin
and here is the link http://www.whoar.co.nz/2018/bitcoin-man-claimed-cryptocurrencys-inventor-accused-stealing-5bn/

Russia Today first released the story but Google has decided to edit that out from the search results and I have tried several IPTV box
providers and strange as it may seem but none of the RT News channels ever work but it must be my bad internet connection playing up again  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It is not good to hear that.. mostly black hat hackers are responsible for these such activities.. but not all hackers are bad.. but then it is good to all the developers of bitcoin because they might search for a solution to become more secure, they might develop much secured flatform.. and for all of us, we must be careful.. and always take a look upon the link that we might open.. because we might losed everything what we had, in a couple minute..

Do you have more information on how do they perform those attacks to hack our wallets, is it some standard phishing or some xss ?
Or just some proof of concept better to have knowledge in these types of attacks that can steal crypto currencies before falling victim to it.

the latest research results from security company McAfee revealed a group of hackers Lazarus began targeting bitcoin owners to hack, mentioned McAfee, Lazarus reportedly trying to steal bitcoin through a campaign called HaoBao. bitcoin theft tactics in this way has never been done before.

Bitcoin is and still will be the principal target for hackers, much more since it's value grew up so much. The market has more than 20 million in BTC, so getting 10 is a great bite from that, a  succulent cake.
I believe we all are going to see this kind of news more and more often, 'cause it has been happening since the very beginning (the hacking). I feel the most important part of this is just to be aware of what is happening: where the money resides, then there will be hackers.
So, for our part, the most important thing is to be aware and to be careful. The situation you mentioned, the "Chinese food" restaurant becoming a hacker site, well. Every week we have a new one.
So thanks for sharing. I will make an investigation on the matter,

Everyone has bitcoin to be more careful to avoid the theft of bitcoin, it would be very sad for us what if our bitcoin is successfully stolen, if our bitcoin in large quantities better we keep it in the physical wallet, let me be more secure.

In fact, almost all the exchanges have suffered hacker attacks. Many have been involved in security incidents, but they have only kept them from handling their own problems. So I think this is an objective fact, but I also think your assets are not enough to allow hackers to attack you.

Nobody believed that he is the real creator of Bitcoin AKA Satoshi Nakamoto. He was not able to provide any single evidence that he is. Also as far as I know he also retract his statement. Now he is actually sued because he is the only one that admitted he is Satoshi.

For the topic hacking has been a problem ever since and to be honest the only thing we could do is be vigilant. Always think before you click, is the link you are clicking is legit. Specially if it was sent at an email. also do not download anything that you are unsure who the source is.

Be aware of malicious documents spreading. I heard that Haobao is
not only targeting cryptocurrencies but also spying on the
victim's system. It can gain access to your system and
credentials. There are bugs that are being exploited in the wild
and has not yet been in public. Windows users are being more
targeted and be ware of visual basic macros since these are one
the entry point of malwares.

Everybody should always be vigilant at all times no matter how safe they feel they are against these predators. As precautionary measure, we should always bear in mind that nothing is safe in cyberspace. Hacking coexists with cyberspace and OP like this is a good way to make others aware about this group.

I really wonder how Lazarus could be able to steal btcs through HaoBao (which is as far as i know is a Chinese restaurant franchising) campaigns. I don't see any correlation between crypto and a restaurant. Huh

The hacking group Lazarus are calling their hacking campaign as HaoBao, it's a self given name.
And realistically if you are just careful with your browsing and download activity you should be fine. And if you don't store BTC on your desktop or mobile device then there is nothing to worry about.

this doesn't sound legit to be honest specially since it is coming from McAfee! he is most probably trying again to gain some attention for his product.
a security company can not know beforehand that a group of hackers are "planning to" attack and hack something simply because those hackers aren't releasing newsletters telling the world what the hell they are doing...
besides all the "tactics" to hack bitcoin has been tried in the past 9+ years. there is nothing new anymore.

As our technologies are getting better , hackers are also evolving in terms of skills and mechanisms they use. They cannot access the blockchain technology itself and so they are targeting those who has bitcoin, users and investors. I see zero potential fot a user yo be hacked unless he/she is careless enough to accidentally show the keys and passwords.

Technology has really evolved with the times. Digital thieves have been keeping up with it. We must be very vigilant with out bitcoin wallets than before. Hopefully countermeasures are reached before this becomes a global incident.

Is this news? The hacker has long been made the target of people who own Bitcoins. Especially when the housewives began to own them, too.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that sad story of your friend, next time your friend need to be extra careful and vigilant. Never click suspicious links and always keep the keys where no one can see it, keep the keys in a private. For now watch out! hackers are everywhere. They're just hiding and waiting for the right timing to hack, so sad.🙁🙁🙁
