Hi, I basically used a hub that was on too high voltage cause I used a 12v power on the hub, and then the usbs were connected. I then plugged it out, and put it in my computer and the thing only detects 2 as com 3 and 7, the rest dont appear, and one of them is not recognised. Also, all of the green led's do come up. Using Windows 8, cgminer.

Is it plugged in properly? Are the USBs broken?

If the voltage was too high, maybe you destroyed one of them.

if it froed the hub then theres a 50/50 chance the erupters are fried to.... best way to fond out is plug 1 in at a time to either a proper hub or a direct usb on you PC.. if you plug to many into you PC the odds are that your PC wont be able to power them all unless you have a very high end motherboard..
try them 1 at a time and mine with them for 30 mins this will show if they work or if they got fried

I fried: 3 block erupter usb's, my computer, HOWEVER, the usb hub is still functional Well, that is when I plug them one by one into my desktop. 1 comes as 'unrecognized' and the other 2 just dont appear... i actually paid $220 for all of this Any suggestions on what to do now, is it for sure they are all fried even though they STILL indicate a green light Also, when they got hot before, I would take them out, and put them back once they cool, so im surprised all of them are fried

I don't think that you can repair them. You should just throw them out. They are definitely broken

Sorry for your losses. You can do nothing now, but buy new ones.

depending where you live you could probably still sell them as id imaging its the little gold chips which have blown and could be replace, depending how the hubs wired you probably find that the blown erupters took the force of the volts and that the 2 that are working where far enough away that the circuits in the hub didnt last long enough for them to get a full does of 12v
id be willing to buy the dud ones off your for the price of P&P to the UK plus 10% to ease your pain
you could always take a few pictures and post them on here it should be pretty obviouse if something has blown on them as 12v would do some big damage
also unplugging them and letting them cool over and over is bad for them as it creates cracks on the solders your best bet is just get a little fan and point it to them to keep them cool all the time

I took some photo's but it is way too blurry to even bother uploading them. I really closely inspected the USB's and I could not find ANY difference at all between the 2 working ones, and the non-working one . I will try to upload some decent photos ASAP. Also, im not ready to give up yet and sell them, however I will sell it, after a few more days of trying

everything important on a block erupter is on show but if you want to take the heatsinks off then its just 2 plastic screws
as for the usb hub it might shed some light on why some survived most cheap hubs just have 4 screws on the bottom then just pull apart the screws may be under the rubber feet
