Now I think am gonna rely more on the team structure and roadmap analysis. If they've got a solid backing from credible investors, then they've got my money.

Hello everyone
I have a question.
there are so many altcoins in the market. How can we choose the right coin?
I know there are some criteria for us to consider
1: low supply 2: good project 3: realistic roadmap 4: good team member
questions: is there any more criteria can be considered? and what's the priority you think about all these criteria?
also. anyone can give me more detail information about these criteria??
like the first one: low supply. how many supply is "low supply" the second one: what's definition of "good project" the fourth one: how to measure it has "good team member"
Thank you for your help. I think it is very important for investors.
Not sure if you got the answer to your other questions, but I do have something to say when it comes to choosing an alt. ALWAYS, for 9/10 alts you decide buy, NEVER buy a new ICO that just got put on an exchange. Buy alts when you know they're at an all time low or at the lowest in terms of BTC.

I always read the whitepaper prior to investing and I can truly recoomend doing that. This way you can immediatly sort out bad coins, additionally, you are way more into the project and know whats going on

If you wanna understand how to choose the coin, you need to go to the exchange trade-market and base on such things as: TRADING VOLUME, THE NOWADAYS PRICE, VOLUME OF PEOPLE WHO WANNA BUY and SELL THIS COIN Of course you need to visit the site of this coin that you analyze and read whitepaper And look how this coin trades on market during the whole time (price up-down-updown, or it has a stabile level - it's better to get coin with up-down-up-down-up... - people has an interest in this coin)

In choosing a coin, I basically reviewing the whitepaper. Checking if the project is viable in the blockchain community. Checking also the team and partnership is very crucial in the decision. So goodluck to us

There are internet reading materials that would somewhat teach you how to choose a good altcoin. So have time to read those articles. Of course each altcoin has its whitepaper wherein you can read the viability of the projects in the market community, the team, roadmap, marketcap. You need to do a lot if research and some technical analysis so that you can choose altcoins which are legit and have potential to grow and useful in the community as a whole.

In addition: 1) Watch closely on project's community. Is it active? Is it helping? Are there any valuable members, not only traders and noobs? 2) Research member's names on the internet, find their LinkedIn profiles, their previous jobs, etc 3) Look through their social media. Is it active? When was the last post and how active are their channels? 4) Last, but not least - do you think blockchain tech is really needed in their kind of business/market?

Well, choosing a good altcoin is very difficult. because some successful coins, can experience problems. perhaps a good coin is a coin that has a higher price than the ICO price when it is distributed to a bounty hunter. well, those coins are very good coins for me.

First and foremost check the whitepaper analyze it properly, next one is the team if they are active, and the community!this is important as you can discuss with them regarding the altcoin that you want..

1. read and understand the whitepaper. If you don't like the idea, skip it. 2. know the team. background check or direct interaction if possible. 3. ico ratings by icobench, icocheck and others

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts. The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now. The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster. I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place. They are on ICO stage right now and already on the exchanges, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

For me, the best way to choose about whether an altcoin is good or not would be reading and understanding its whitepaper. Because it is the whitepaper where you can know al the details about that certain Altcoin and understand what are their visions and missions in making that Altcoin. It is important to know and verify a certain Altcoin first before thinking to invest in it because maybe in the end, it is only a shitcoin and not an Altcoin.

To choose a good altcoin is you have to study each and every altcoin because we must know if this altcoin is in demand or not. You also have to read, analyze or understand the whitepapers so you could choose a good altcoin. There are things that we must consider for choosing a good altcoin first is for low supply second is a good project third is a realistic roadmap fourth is a good team member.

In short, you need to look at which kind of exchanges it trades on. If these are large exchanges with good volumes, then this coin has a future, after that you should study the roadmap and who's on the team, and the rest things are not so important.
