I would like to thank Bitcointalk.org for the lack of censorship, which also does allow for more freedom than on some other forums where tyrants censor every little thing.

Thank you bitcointalk.org Grin

I thought there wasn't enough freedom of speech, then I checked the alt-coin subforum, and I was like" maybe I am not there yet, better get used to the status quo."

Delete less posts moderator's mysteriously deem off topic and then I'll be satisfied but overall the forum isn't bad an ignore/block function means moderators are hardly needed anyway.

Agreed. It's getting pretty random lately.

What do you do with the posts that are useless to everybody then? (Spam, viruses etc)

Hehe, there is very little I delete as long as it isn't something like a five paragraph copy and paste of a brownie recipe in all capital letters with various obscenities strung through it. I believe we are all adults here (for the most part) and you should be able to say what you want, as long as you aren't seriously infringing on the rights of others. Each board has slightly different rules based on the local moderators personal philosophies, with a base line of what you should/shouldn't moderate, and from there its personal opinion, as long as you stay consistent.
