Hi

I think the new silver 0.1BTC casascius coins look great and as a collector have to have a few, as a reseller though i feel they are a little to high cost to be able to sell them though.

I would like to start a group buy for the UK & EU.

My proposal is simple. We split the price of the coins and postage to the UK evenly between all of us and the extra postage needed to send from me to the final buyer is covered individulally by each buyer.

I have sold a few coins on bitmit now and have done a few trades with various people. I am looking to build my reputation too which is why i am happy to make no profit on this order. (And i want a few coins)

Price will be 9BTC/20 = 0.45 BTC for each coins. EDITED AS IT WAS UNCLEAR

Postage will be 0.5BTC/total different users involved. eg. if there is 10 different buyers we will all pay 0.05 extra in total.

EDIT (In case of a customs charge then this will be split between unique users in the same way as postage, if you are not ok with this please let me know)

I will start it and see if anyone is interested

No-one interested? Is that in the group buy or the 0.1's in general?

The price does seem to knock everyone but collectors out i think.  Undecided

Ill think about it. Im a semi-colector, but also investor...
They are very expensive. Im still hoping the price will drop. For 0.25-0.30 BTC I would probably buy some...

I don't see the price dropping any time soon

I'm interested in probably 2 if possible, when do you plan on dropping the order?

* For £40 each it's a much better price than if you bought from a reseller

I know what you mean icey. I don't think there are many people other than collectors that would take one of these. If you just wanted something to hold then the 1BTC Brass coin is probably your best bet.

I'm only getting the one (0.10) to complete the collection. Stunning coins, don't regret buying the other two at all but still pricey nevertheless

Just checked the original post as i wasnt sure what you meant. It looks like i made a mistake with the post. It should read 9BTC/20 = 0.45BTC. I am not intending on making a 0.45BTC profit on each coin Smiley I presume that anybody who has already said they wantone know this too, (if you do want to pay me 0.45 extra for each coin feel free Wink )

So to clarify. Coin cost will be split evenly per coin.

Postage will be split between unique number of buyers. If there are 10 different buyers it will be divided by 10 irrespective of how many coins you want. Extra postage from me to you will be on a non profit basis. I just want some coins. Smiley

Cool, so assuming by the time we get to 19 sold you will be able to get one then that leaves 8 to go. I reckon we should be able to order by the end of this week. Smiley
