I have been traveling a fair bit in the past couple weeks, something I don't preannounce.  So that has been making me a bit slow on answering emails and funding coins (as well as stickering/keying them as necessary).  Shipments are still going out even when I travel - we stickered the last of the production run gold-plated silver coins today, so if your order contains these, it's likely to go out today.  Any outstanding 2-factor bars were all just finished as well.  If it has any 0.1 btc rolls, that'll be another couple days.  To be honest, there's a bit of relief to not be taking orders - I had no idea I'd even get this far behind.

And just a brief update on where the money transmitter effort is going: evaluating how the state governments will react to FinCEN taking a stand that I'm a money transmitter... since I've come to understand that it's actually the states that are more aggressive in regulating who can and can't "transmit" money... the feds seemingly want more than anything, the unbridled ability to follow money as it moves, and less to prohibit people who are willing and able to follow their reporting rules.  There's a lot of states and I'm sure you've all heard that getting licensed in 50 states is a monumental undertaking, but even winning any sort of vic

Ok, they have arrived. Cheesy We have some good and some bad news however.

Bad news first, Mike has only included cases for the 1's and not the 0.1's. Not only that but the cases for the 1's are the same ones i already have and they are simply not suitable. You really have to push the coin into the case and i have cracked a case doing this before. Sad I am going to look for cases tonight when I'm home, it shouldn't be too difficult or expensive, I will keep you all informed.

Good news, which easily balances out the bad, is it seems the customs charges were paid on Casascius end. Smiley This means the only cost of getting the coins to you all will be postage and packaging. Smiley

Give me 24 hours and i will have more details. Pretty sure everyone should have their coins by Christmas though.

Ok I have found some cases with foam protectors on ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-ringed-coin-capsule-Airtite-20mm-21mm-22mm-23mm-24mm-25mm-small-/360634060949

They will work out at under £1 each, which i think most people will be willing to pay.

I have ordered them and they should be here on Monday, meaning I will be able to post Monday onwards.  Please contact me by PM with your name and address and I will work out amounts to be paid.

Thanks

I just gave it to my cousin, who had no idea what Bitcoin was. One her first impressions was "This is what true money should look like". After just a few minutes explaining, she hugged me and said "thanks for buying me a house".

What a smart cousin I have. Grin Thank you, steelboy!
